A lot of people on here are very critical about the machine all I know is I was tired of paying almost 7 dollars a pint for Häagen Dazs & Talenti Also you control the sugar and unhealthy stuff that goes into the product it’s a win-win it pays for itself in the long run because I love sorbet, ice cream & gelato.
At first, I thought this couldn't replace my blender, but it really does turn hard ice into a creamy dessert.
Hello Ray. We understand your concerns. As you mentioned, some of our blenders, including a version of the Ninja Hot & Cold Blender, do have an ice cream function. That function is perfect for mixing the ingredients for ice cream and making delicious frozen treats; however, the Ninja CREAMi doesn't just mix ingredients. The Ninja CREAMi's Creamerizer paddle finely shaves and churns ice particles into creamy frozen treats in minutes. This great system also has two independent motors, one to spin the paddle and another to apply downward pressure. Each of the 7 One-Touch programs will apply the perfect amount of downward pressure and speed to the Creamerizer paddle.
@@DickWigglinI was sceptical too, but actually, no, a blender can't churn ice cream from rock solid, especially homemade mixes that tend to be more water heavy.
This technology has been around for quite a few years. It's first iteration is the pacojet which costs about 4,000 dollars.
Ninja is effectively a home version with out the pressurization control the pacojet has.
With this, you make a mix, freeze it solid, then turn it into ice cream. Unlike homemade which unless you understand the chemical balance and use enough sugar and fat will freeze solid. With this machine, that's not an issue anymore because it heats up the ice cream while churning out the crystallization, all which makes it smooth, because ice crystals are the enemy of any frozen treat save for a few.
I really want this product because homemade ice cream that doesn't matter if it freezes rock hard would be a total game changer for me. Being able to control the ingredients and not worry about it getting rock solid would be amazing.
@@vixxcelacea2778 I wasn't referring to a regular blender, rather, my Ninja cold and hot blender that has auto IQ settings. One of them being, "ice cream".
i once hand cranked ice cream and it looked easier than this machine. no thanks. Just get an ice cream maker.
My god, I'm going to end up with every item Ninja sells. I want this
Me too just purchased it on sale.😂
Same
I want it too. I have a foodi, speedi, the ninja juicer, blender, and now I want to try this.
yeah, my thought exactly, it was £50 less than regular price day before yesterday on Prime day and I still thought it was out of my budget, love what can do, would love to have it, but I have to say, here *in the UK) you can buy very very cheap ice cream, and the rest of what this can do, my brevile does, but if I had the money, I would get it, love the design too :)
Damn… do folks just come here to hate? Geezus. My grandma has a smile every time we make ice cream or her favorite sorbet with mango and pineapple. That’s a good purchase for me.
I must say I was skeptical. My husband is a huge ice cream fan. Me..... Not so much. He made 3 batches that he wasn't impressed with using a variety of oat milk, almond milk or soy milk. I decided to try it myself before I allowed him to return his present. I must say.... I'm in LOVE. IT CAME OUT PERFECTLY. I made homemade yogurt from scratch, mixed it with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, froze it, blended it and added chocolate chips. So delicious and creamy!!! I own a high end blender that makes everything, even almond butter and sherbets. And the Creami is a welcomed addition to my kitchen.
Proof positive…you must use quality ingredients to create proper taste and mouth feel. Oat milk? Soy milk? Almond milk? Those are just flavoured water…there is no creaminess in water! Besides…soy is not a healthy choice! It is an endocrine disruptor and dangerous to consume.
but if you own a high end blender.... my Kitchen Aid does exactly the same thing this appliance does..... even my Breville, that costs even these days £20 (10% of t=what the Creami is here in the UK now) the Breville is supposed to be a smoothie maker, but if I follow this recipe and freeze it, then my Kitchen Aid (I have the Artisan, we paid almost £400 in 2021 after getting tired of cheap ones breaking) will do exactly the same this thing does..... I love the design and would love top have it, but my budget being little and my kitchen even smaller....... anyway, I was trying to get to the point that many other food processing appliances can do thus perfectly well.... :)
Loving this purchase. I am not a fan of many keto ice creams. I don't want regular ice cream due to the sugar content and added unnatural ingredients. If I make my own, I can control all the ingredients, keep them clean and still enjoy ice cream without feeling like I am missing something. This is easy to use.... loving the machine.
Our Ninja CREAMi is the best option to prepare delicious ice creams with the best ingredients to keep healthy, Linda! 🙂
Nealy: Slowly whisk in the heavy milk and cream.
Also Nealy: *adds both cream and milk altogether and whisks them both fast*
Well spotted!!!
You got something for global warming or gaps in financial stability?
Can you refreeze whatever you don't eat in a sitting and run it again later? Does the quality change at all? Alternatively, can you run it when the container is only half full?
Thanks for this great video. I just managed to order this tonight (they have been out of stock) and I love sorbet and gelato, plus on the occasions when I make ice cream I can control exactly what goes into it. I can't wait to get it.
I love my Ninja Creami … currently, I have 3 pints in the freezer all vanilla. When I finally use them, one will be good old vanilla, one will be with added chocolate chips and one will have added Oreo cookies…now I’m thinking of doing a yogurt/condensed milk/ vanilla mixture… I love this machine and yes you can run it half full or even re-freeze it… just don’t overfill it. Another one I want to make will be a coffee flavored ice cream…the possibilities are endless!
We're happy to hear you love your Ninja CREAMi, Gail! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Asked for this for Christmas! Can't wait. I could eat ice cream at every meal.

I've been doing this with my regular blender for the longest for my Nicecream I eat everyday for breakfast. You can add all kinds of toppings & it taste just like ice cream. I love it. ❤ This new ninja creami is cute tho if u wanna dish out $200 😏
What blender are you using?
Can you share your recipe?
@@gattamom hi! Just look up Nicecream on CZcams. You'll find different flavors. You need to use frozen fruits..primarily chopped up banana for me as a base. Sometimes I'll add a few blueberries or strawberries if I want it to taste more like blueberriesor strawberry. Or I'll add matcha powder or even chocolate pieces. U blend it until it's creamy & u add a bit water as u blend... depending on the consistency of creamy U like. I have nicecream every day for breakfast honestly with a side of warm oatmeal. It's delish!
@@Skaleezay Which is great, but a regular blender can't typically handle the rock hard bases of sorbet or regular ice cream. It also doesn't require watering it down.
I'm going to use it to make zero sugar protein ice creams that otherwise will freeze rock solid. I'm so stoked to get this when it finally comes to the EU.

When I think of an Ice Cream maker I think of a device where I load my raw ingredients into it and it does the rest. This isn't an Ice Cream Maker at all, it only stirs the solution that you make and freeze ahead of time.
What if you want to use 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk & cream? & what does the cost break down to making 1 pint compared to the high-end store brands like Ben & Jerry's?
Great question, Jay! Using half & half may change the consistency of your ice cream. With this said, you may need to use the Lite Ice Cream function and the Re-spin option. For the cost per pint, this will vary depending on the ingredients being used.
If I want to add items like cookie dough. Do I add that before or after mixing?
After, and there's a mix-in button
I got the Ninja Creami after learning that most ice cream is bio- engineered! And I love it and the fact that you know exactly what is in your ice cream when you make it yourself.

How long does it run, to make that ice cream for example..how long does the actual ice cream mode take?
Thank you for asking. We recomend to freeze the mixture for at least 24 hours before use, and the programs take 1 to 2 and a half minutes to run.
Ninja creami machine does not give proper cleaning instructor. You need to clean the rubber seal, and rod. How come ninja missed this?

Hi there!
Question: This looks amazing as it reminds me of a more affordable and sensible for at home cooking version of a pacojet. But could the Creami also turn small cuts of chicken or fish frozen with cream and egg into a mousse / farce? ☀️
Thank you for asking, Maude. The Creami is not made for making stuff like mouse or farce, and we do not recomend using it for that. To find recipe ideas for it we recomend going to www.ninjakitchen.com/recipes/?q=&sort=Newest&tags=&page=1.
They may not recommend it, but if you are willing to buy a new one in case it doesn't go well, you could give it a shot. So long as it's not going to blow up or catch fire.
I doubt that legally they even checked if it was a possibility or something the western consumer market would think of doing.
Wow that’s a great idea. Did you try it?
Sounds gross 🤢
It'll work
Okay so this looks nice! But where do you make tge base to begin with??? Thanks
Thank you for your interest in our Ninja CREAMi! This amazing machine includes pint containers that you put your prepared ingredients into. Once this is done, place the pint into the freezer on a flat service for at least 24 hours prior to processing.
So you have to pre chill the mix the mix it so it's not an ice-cream maker just a fancy blender
That's exactly what it is. If this machine would've froze the ice cream it would've been so worth it and would've set it apart from using a blender.
That would have been cool (no pun intended), but what's great about this that takes it FAR above a blender is that you dont have to worry about getting the churn right for the consistency. You don't churn at all. You just mix and freeze, and the machine makes the ice cream with the smoothness and consistency. It's genius.
I noticed that too. Hell, you might as well get one of those other ones that are alot cheaper. I thought the machine made it right then and there...this is just one step up from using the rock salt version. They can come talk to me when I can put the ingredients in the bowl and it mixes right there and ready to eat.
@@aliciannaw.9915 It also absolutely wouldn't be 200 dollars.
However this might give rise to traditional ice cream makers adding a second blade attachment with a motor for rotating and pushing it through the product. A sort of 2 in 1 function.
A lot of people buy the makers that need the bowl frozen for a day prior, so for many, this will be no different and produce superior results in comparison if the homemade base is more watery (lower sugar, lower fat etc)
If you combine a blender and ice cream maker, it would likely be 600 dollars and overtime get cheaper knockoffs that break faster.
@@carmens3685 Perfect for people making ice creams that just do not freeze well, like low sugar, low fat or protein ones.
I would rather be able to make literally any base in the world with mix ins and then just put it a machine to get ice cream consistency.
Real sick of desperately trying xanthan gum, vodka and other stabilizers to prevent giant ice crystals. So many different recipes that didn't work because it froze into a rock.
so it's a slow blender?
FlavCity has a great Shamrick Protein ice-cream recipe.
The problem is that I can do this in my food processor bowl, my blender, or my mixer. Another appliance just isn't feasible.

Great questions! Any leftover ice cream can certainly be put back in the freezer. Prior to serving again, re-spin the ice cream. The original Ninja CREAMi isn't designed to make frozen yogurt.
Whats the difference between the lite ice cream and normal ice cream function?
Thank you for your interest in our Ninja CREAMi. We'll be happy to answer your questions. The ICE CREAM feature is designed for traditional recipes with dairy, and dairy-alternative ingredients. Whereas the LITE ICE CREAM is designed for health-conscious consumers to make ice creams that are low in sugar or fat or use sugar substitutes.

The price is about right. An actual, good, ice cream maker is 300-400, usually more. Vitamix and Blendtecs work similar because of their raw power, but are also more expensive. For the power needed , 200 is about right
So it's an over priced blender?
Hi, Kelly. The CREAMi isn't a blender as it has much more options, and a unique design. The Ninja CREAMi allows smooth deserts with any mix in treat of your choice, and the pints are safe to freeze.
Can you make vegan ice cream in it?
no
Yes you can
So it doesn't make actually ice-cream?
You still have to make and freeze the base yourself
Hi there! You would make and freeze the base, then process it in the CREAMi. The CREAMi transforms frozen solid bases into ice cream, sorbets, milkshakes, and more at the touch of a button. Creamify technology enables the CREAMi to break down a uniformly frozen block into an incredibly smooth, creamy texture in minutes.
You have to make the base yourself regardless. If it is a cooked base, it needs to be chilled in the fridge before putting it through a traditional ice cream maker. You can’t put a warm or room temp base through one of those. The product then comes out soft and often needs to be scraped into another container to be hardened a bit, unless everyone is ready to eat it right away at a soft serve consistency. With this one, you can make your base(s) and keep them in the freezer for when the mood for ice cream strikes, then mix it up in a few minutes. Overall I don’t see it as any more work, and it might even be a little less. It’s a different method and one that’s been around for decades in the restaurant used pacojet machine. This is basically a home version of that machine.
I ordered one days ago from the ninja site and haven't gotten an email confirming my purchase. I am about to cancel and order from another source I did get a pending notice from my credit card company but nothing from Ninja. I could have had it by now had I ordered from someone else. Very disappointed.

i have the blender what would happen if i did this it the blender in the cups to make ice cream?
You can certainly use your blender to mix the ingredients for ice cream. With the said, the Ninja CREAMi finely shaves and churns ice particles into creamy frozen treats.
@@NinjaKitchenUS so thats a no any ways i can make ice cream with the ninja blender
We're sorry to hear that the Ninja CREAMi does not meet your needs. With that said, we are happy to hear that you like your Ninja Blender!
How flexible is she tho I didn’t see anything here indicating her being flexible 🎉false advertising 😢😂❤ love this creami using ours right now
Si j’achète a-t-il le livre en français?

The bowl that she put in the microwave looks like it had a metal rim.
I hate having to wait until the ingredients are frozen WHY did ninja not make a compressor ice machine 😫😫😫😫😫
We are very sorry for any inconvenience on this, Eumeka. We want to thank you for your suggestion. We have forwarded that along to the appropriate team for future consideration. In the meantime, if you don't want to wait the 24 hours, you can make a milkshake or customize store-bought ice cream with your own mix-ins in minutes.
@@NinjaKitchenUS that could work but I like almond milk or coconut milk ice cream and they don't make that in store so I make mine by putting everything in the freezer then once frozen I use my ninja pro hot/cold blender so I don't see the need for the new icreami if I still have to wait for freezing before I can blend
Some of you people sound like idiots on here I compressor device will cost you almost $1000 don’t be ridiculous
3:05 wait! dairy free... With cream cheese?? 😂
