I test rode one in 2015, fantastic fun bike that was definitely more sport than tourer. Lovely design especially the panniers but in the end I went for what I perceived as a better bet on higher mileage reliability (Kawasaki Versys 1000). Nice review thanks.

I've never owned an MV are the shop prone all the time? I know dealerships are scarce to say the least. They are beautiful bikes no question.

Deep down when anyone buys an MV they know a shit storm is brewing come maintenance and service intervals. Beauty and a very very scary beast.
Yeah I would buy one probably used as new too expensive but I'm scared of maintenance issues , I've been stung by Italian bikes before

The GoPro facing the rider makes it appear like you’re piloting a wheelbarrow; fisheye? That was short on data for me, faint praise? I’d like to hear more about the quality of the ride, cost of ownership and projected reliability. All that aside, does anyone pump out a more aesthetically pleasing motorcycle than MV Augusta?

Yeah... there’s something to be said for riding a slow bike fast. My Street Twin is good for that - it runs out of steam before you can do silly speeds
@@motobob yeah, my bandits the same. It feels so much quicker than it actually is. I ride regular with a friend with a GSX-S and when I think I'm really pushing on he's ridding one handed like he's ready for falling asleep 😅😐
All in this bike are beautiful, except mirrors... very wide especially when you riding between cars.
