- This is the story of how it all started. The story behind our little camera that within a little more than a year got 8.5 million views and gathered the most amazing audience anyone could ever dream of.
On July 17 2022 we decided to move the live stream to its own channel - the channel you are watching now. This will make it easier to make content specific to the people enjoying watching wildlife in my backyard.

This video was originally posted on my other channel back in 2021 when it all started, but I thought it would be appropriate to post it on this channel as well.
It is so interesting to look back at the solar system and think of all the trouble we had in the very beginning. Let us hope these troubles are not going to repeat themselves:)

I always enjoy watching, though I'm always busy with different projects. The adventures of the badgers might become part of a fairy tale, I'm writing for little Josephine, youngest member of our family, mixing it with places I like around here like the "mirror pond" or the dripstone caves. It will take some time, that she will be old enough to join me outside, but hey - can't start too early.

@@nature-live I'll tell you, when I'm done with it and maybe I find time to translate it. My dad never read stories to me, but created them himself. Each starting with the words "There was the old woman of the woods, who weaved fairytales". I always imagined a weaving loom between the roots and the branches of an old oak tree. But maybe it was a mirabelle tree? Who knows?
Still such an informative video and what a journey we've been on so far (especially with the solar power 😆) Since you mentioned subtitles, if you ever need some help with English subtitling on here, I've subtitled quite a few of your other videos when CZcams Community Subtitling was still a thing, just let me know :)

Love listening and getting to know you Morten in your piece of paradise. In New Zealand the only native mammal was a bat, so your mammals are a joy. Our country was full of Native birds. So beautiful and amazing songs.

Really loved seeing the stream as it was when you began. It would be wonderful to see the changes along the way .....how it evolved to what it is today. Thanks for this video and hope you continue to make more! btw, the times when you make changes and leaving snacks... it would be nice to have those moments on video because not all of us can be on for that. what the equipment you use Sir? is it use laptop or computer to make live stream or it is just only webcam and use another equipment?
You would make a good professional commentarie for national geographic or that type documentaries
May I ask how you provide internet service to your webcam?

Everyone eats mice. The sparrowhawk, the buzzard, the hawk, the fox, the wild boar, all the owls, the stork, all the snakes, but the farmers have to poison mice.
What's wrong with them?
Hi Morten! Is there any more information about the technical details and software do you use for the 24h Livestream? We've tried countless things (rtsp -> restreamer, obs etc.) , but the stream rarely lasts 24 hours :(
