The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

Love to see these clips of the obscure and forgotten acts that appeared on Sullivan. Great stuff.
It's astounding that this footage even exists. There are much stranger tracks on their first album, a kind of trippier variation of The Free Design.
Beautiful and haunting song. Thank you for sharing it.
You always have something positive to say, that's why I always enjoy seeing and reading your comments! I always told me kids, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it!"
classic beauty
This performance touched me. 😆
Wow! I didn't know this existed! Never thought I'd see footage of them.
que decir...hermoso, cuando me entere que iban a ir subiendo todas las presentacion de sullivan, la unica que espere con real ansia fue esta, sublime vieja!
I love it.
I love it ❤️
Creepy sounding song that would be perfect for some 70s era spooky movie.
Ha
They reused the same set that Tommy James and the Shondells used during their appearance a few months before this.
Hauntingly Beautiful...
Happy Wednesday... thank you for sharing! 💖
PLEASE upload the Honey Ltd. appearance from early 1969!!
Yeah,. Riiiiiightt!!
Lip Sync Extraordinaire!
This is the set Tommy James & the Shondells used January 26th,1969...cool...
Still better than the crappy modern music out these days.
It says 8 comments and I see none. I guess they were censored.
The same happened to me, but I clicked in "last comments" and I could see all.
How pretty.
Very weird song but those women are both beautiful!
A couple of extra's from Peter Fonda's & Bruce Dern's film..."The Trip". (1967)
Where is the other song they performed that night, "I Go To Life"?
DONDE?
@@federicovincent2271 What?
@@-M-A-B- una jodita
@@federicovincent2271 I'm not sure what your problem is, since I don't speak Spanish, but using google translate I see you are using profanity for some reason. Did you have a question about my original statement? Otherwise, I'm done with this conversation.
Brunette voiced Scarlett in GI Joe
Who is this?
Kitchey
I’ve never heard of this group who are they?
I'd like to know as well
God damn. That was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.
I don't remember them at all
Nice Camera Work but shame i'm not on enough LSD to enjoy it.
That was depressing.
That was okay. To be honest, it felt like a Saturday Night Live sketch to me. It didn’t help that I’d never heard of Inner Dialogue before.
Beyond weird.
