This is such an unusual (and amazing) band for the modern era. I feel like this latest album is right out of the 70's with it's Carpenters-like soft-rock vibes and unpredictable chord progressions / key changes. So cool that they've brought this 'feeling' into the 21st century and manage to make it sound fresh. Definitely one of my favorite albums this year.

These guys have been my favorite band for 6 years or more now. They never disappoint! Other than The Beatles, I've never been more giddy or euphoric about the output of any band. They are brilliant.. And if you don't know about their father's musical history, check it out. I love his material. Ronnie D'Addario.

I swore that was a diminished chord, but could never figure out which it was! They use one in "My Golden Years" too!
I like the opening A to Amaj7. Major 7th chords are haunting and emotional. My favorite.

The way the bass moves is essential to the song, and not many songs nowadays are like that. This is the best single yet imho

Never expected the "La la la" part of a song to make me cry but here we are :,)) This song along with the other singles is completely captivating and SO The Lemon Twigs!! As a day 1 fan its incredible to witness your music evolve and expand but still sound so uniquely you. Everything Harmony cant come fast enough, its literally all I think about hahahah

A lot of this reminds me of The Beatles "Another Girl" off the Help! album and film; mainly the beach scenes. This had also been In My Head since I first heard it and saw them play it live when I saw them 2 nights in a row. Another fab and gear single mates!
I cannot get enough. Music Industry get a clue! As a former WB/Reprise employee I get radio friendly instant hits here. It is time for a return of pop, power pop, rock and roll ! No over produced hip hop rap garbage but pure melodic songs, lovely harmonies and they can play instruments. This is what the world needs...time for the agressive genres to die out..we need a change, turn on the radio and listen to the Lemon Twigs..cmon get happy!
Their last two albums have been absolute classics and the music industry has been AWOL on this. Shocking really

Power Pop Perfection
What a great band, I don't normally go for modern music but these guys have a good 60s vibe and nice harmonys,just ordered my first lp..can't wait to stick it on...
The first few times I listen to this song I thought ….Well it’s a cute little Pop ditty. And then all at once it found that place in mind and soul…now I hear how emotionally and beautifully the melody expresses the bittersweet feel of the lyrics.
Their father has done many things but Ronnie was also in my brother Danny Quinn's band for many years. RIP Danny. Love you Ron. Your boys are so good.
