Hi there! What machine did you use for this? I cannot find clamp type scroll saw anywhere.
Hi! I use the Dewalt DW788 Scroll saw. There are two kinds of blades, standard clamp type and pinned. The DW788 has a knob that you twist to lock the blade like I showed in this review. The other type of scroll saw accepts a pinned blade with inserts into a slot and then locks with a lever. I hope this clarified things.
@@SCWD_US thanks for your response. What specific feature should I look in a scroll saw that will say "clamp type" because usually that is not written on the specs. Ive been looking for one that can accommodate a spiral blade.
Marian Lylee Pascua Good question. It’s my own terminology. I would imagine searching for “tool free blade clamp” will bring up the scroll saw that uses the Duragrit blade. As well as spiral and all types of blades without the pin.
