if they're able to have the custom characters have their own slots similar to how brawl mods eventually evolved into. This will be insane.
Give it a few years though I'm sure they'll have some breakthroughs if it's anything remotely close to the level of Brawl that'd be great because Brawl's modding potential is endless
5-10 years and it would be the new brawl vault.

Yeah I love the Fan Favorite DLC Pack. And FYI I feel like MvC3 needed a/another DLC Pass but it was all fighters who were heavily requested for MvC3.

Well not everything his captain fire doesn't reach full screen for some reason and this is the least amount of damage done by captain corridor of any of the games.
All we need is Baby & Jennety for all to be sublime.
I'm surprise Captain Commando wasn't on MVC3 or Ultimate or even as DLC he was popular in the first two games and he wasn't brought back in Infinite.
There was more dlc planned for infinite but due to poor sales the dlcs got canceled sadly I would have loved to seen what characters would have been in
I think C. Viper was Captain Commando replacement in 3 being they have similar moves or something like that.

Funny enough, after MVC2 the only loved Captain Commando got, was from Bandai Namco and Banpresto with Namco X Capcom (2005) and Project X Zone 2 (2015). But later he got the Beat 'em Collection, so that's something I guess.

Hard to tell the mods from the regular characters
Lol the early days were just color changes. But now the modding community have a model importer and take characters from I believe MUA.

Fun fact: Captain Commando's voice actor, Takashi Nagasako, voiced Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Smash (Melee and Ultimate), Darun Mister in Street Fighter EX series, Cervantes in Soul Calibur and he's the current voice of Donkey Kong.
Given how much attention modders are giving to Marvel vs. Capcom 3 via mods, I think it's pretty obvious that the FGC wants a new entry. Hopefully that means we get a 'real' Marvel vs. Capcom 4 (i.e. not Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite) with he roster & gameplay we all want.
We also need a collection that has:
- X-Men Children of the Atom
- Marvel Super Heroes
- X-Men vs. Street Fighter
- Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
- Marvel vs. Capcom
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I picked up UMVC3 a month ago, SO glad to hear this mod just dropped! I was so bummed when MVC3 vanilla came out and he didn't make the cut. I mean I'll take the concessions losing the other commandos, just having him in it at all is super cool!!

I'm still shock no Power Stone characters was in Marvel vs. Capcpm 3 especially Infinite where it made the most sense for them being in the game.

At this point modders will make the next MvC before capcom actually does, and it'll probably be better than whatever capcom does make too.
Welcome to the world of modded fighting games that are far better than the current game that is official. Like Project M was.
The blame goes to Marvel on this one. If we learned anything from Infinite, it's that they're trying way too hard to tie literally every piece of media back to the MCU. Honestly, I'm not sure we should get another entry until Marvel is willing to let Capcom do it right.
@@MegaManJake the good part is that later project m builds also support Subspace. You can play it entirely (only with slight crashes once in a while) with the melee mechanics.

We say thank you to the modders who continue to make some amazing characters. Just about the most love Captain Commando has seen since Max decided to make him a villain.

I’d love a pure Mega Man fighting game from Capcom. I think it should be crazy like Marvel and pull in Mega Man characters from every spin-off! It will probably be its own thing., though. I wouldn’t mind a Power Battle 3 with punches, kicks and throws along side some shooting/zoning. I just want a shiny new Mega Man on consoles with all the Mega Man we’re not getting all at once, at the moment!

thank you for showing off these other, individual swaps alongside the larger palette swap mod! i hope that these showcases you've been doing will help other potential creators find out about the modding scene for UMVC3. an average viewer might think this is all one large mod - and all credit to tabs_mvc because 80% of the characters are. lol
Captain Commando is an individual character by CaliKingz01 though, for example. M. Bison and Urien are a pair of characters by Malamander; STARS Jill and Mega Man X are part of a larger pack of characters by emc650; and there's a wild DMC5 Vergil by WatcherKave featuring almost all his moves from the newest game that is cuhrayzee as fuck. you're seeing the work of a lot of different people coming together very harmoniously here, i like that a lot. i appreciate Max's videos about this stuff and i hope that they'll help continue to bring new people into the game. big salute to everyone involved in making this stuff happen.

Only thing I think needs to be tweaked is Captain Sword either hitting more, or doing like it did in other games and drag the opponent back to the stage.

It's actually short for "Capsule Computers." And Captain Commando is constantly referenced in other games, Street Fighter V being the most recent. They don't necessarily have to make a new game for them to be "remembered." Capcom is pretty much at the point where they're mostly nostalgia pandering, so it wouldn't shock me if they suddenly decided to make a Captain Commando port or remaster.

Just an update, captain commando has a new voice actor, they added all of his team mates and they are able to assist and he is much more clean now :o

that is an A+ mod trade just on a visual appeal. going from gray green vest and a gun to bright blues, yellow and the red shades with some white to really make the colors pop.
