Hungrybox, hate him or not, is very emotional. Instead of popping off like his winners finals game, for grands he decided to let everyone including himself cheer up and cheer on axe. This tournament was one of the first I watched live when first getting into melee and man was it good. It made Axe my favorite player but it also made me go from hating hbox to respecting the guy and seeing hes not the bad guy people make him out to be.
Hbox vs Plup was feeling freaking awesome! Fox vs Puff is always entertaining to look at because of the intense atmosphere and fast kill possibilities. Also look how tired/intense Hbox looks, damn

The new thing here is that the meta used to be that puff would simply rest marth or go for down air, but Hbox came up with a new meta by singing to essentially make marth's landing lag a LOT longer, that way hbox can simply fsmash as opposed to resting and maybe getting punished. And yes sing stalling at ledge is an infinite and is banned if you stall with it.
Wish Mang0 went Fox against aMSa. Fox just has better combos on Yoshi and doesn't get gimped as easily. And aMSa is too good to get early percent shined out of his double jump. Falco just can't get more than 1 or 2 hits before Yoshi can recover, it feels like playing a smash4/ultimate match.
Didn't Axe play 3 of the best Marths in his losers run? (M2k wasn't there so it wasn't the 3 best) Axe deserved Genesis more than anyone this year imo because he played like a fucking legend.

Why wouldn't ultimate be last??? It's the most hype smash game and easily on pace to be the best selling smash in history after being out for only two months. Who would put old ass melee in the top spot when you're hosting the first ultimate supermajor right after its release?
