By far the best bumper test I have ever seen on CZcams.
Dryer proof 😂
goddam I saw this comment at beginning, was wonderin near the end if I missed it, then the laundry machine disappeared
@@nogames284 luv the washer scene- Camarata Way. should last hundreds of years..or a hundred seconds guaranteed.
These dang driers these days man, just jumpin out of front of folks left and right. Love it man funny stuff
Every day things
"Very important to have a good bumper incase a dryer runs out in front of ya"
🤣🤣🤣
I want a coffee table book of Andrew quotes along with pictures from his videos. 😂
I love how Andrew went through the whole cycle of "why aren't these stock?" in under a minute.
You never fail to show what the _actual_ process looks like, instead of jump cutting all the difficult parts, and that's what I appreciates about you Andrew.
oh is that what you appreciates about him?
So agree 💯🤘
one thing ive not understood is why he hasn't gotten a cnc plasma table considering all the shit he makes.
sometimes... to a fault ... we still love him... but dude: he has a mag drill doesn't he? i thought i saw a mag drill in a different vid. mag drill on a chunk of i beam or something and an annular cutter and lube would have made me feel better ... and probably him too
@@jasonb6570 i do see that there actually is some totally intended comedy within all this. "that looks way better"
The moment Andrew started to chain the car had me bawling 🤣
Who needs a grader when you have a car on a chain
I'm not calling Andrew's Towing ever!
I almost stroked out on the appliance take.
Andrew should have been around when they built the Mad Max vehicles. He would have loved building those things!
Midwest trucks move aside, here comes AC vehicle recovery!
You wont see any dealership do that level of testing for a bumper. Very impressive work.
Probably because they aren't a manufacturing business
It's not the stealership's business to do that.
Making me defend a frakking stealership... SMH.
How about: New York Man hits his head and believes he's Florida Man
Camarata - builds a crash-proof Frankenbumper, concedes that perhaps the average American should not be entrusted with such.
@@cv990a4his argument about the dage to structures and other vehicles is totally valid, but he didn't mention people.
You hit someone with that even at walking pace you're going to really increase the chances of a very serious injury.
These are the Andrew Camarata videos that I enjoy so very much. Working on a truck that we all know, if something doesn't fit he makes it fit and makes it look good enough. Shows his insights, tells us about how dangerous a good bumper is - plows through a dryer to show how good his product is. Can't help but to come back to these videos and enjoy each and everyone of them.
Man, don't EVER get in a road rage incident with A.K. He will toy with you all afternoon like that. You can clearly see that he's well-versed in the fine art of moving scrap cars around, whether it's pushing or pulling. That might be the most (perhaps unintentional) impressive flex I've ever seen.
I love that when this man rambles he makes more sense and valid points than most adults do during an actual conversation.
Everytime I watch one of Andrew's videos, it reminds me how happy it makes me that someone like him has been so successful on CZcams
And he never asks for subs or likes . Just puts out the content.
"someone like him"? what is that supposed to mean?

Working by & for yourself has it's rewards. Not so much arguing about how something should look or work. "It looks ok to me" is how it ends & I like that about your work.
It also has some downsides, namely not having much help

I agree. But even on technical things, I had to argue bitterly with the guy who was supposedly helping me restore some vehicles. He didn't know when in the firing curve "advanced" was in relation to "retarded" . He put in the lower control arms on my Lotus BACKWARDS and wondered why the steering rack was so far down the threads in adjustment. Flipped 'er over, and presto changeo! I let him know that. I was happy to do things on my own to avoid his bull anymore. And then he tried to re-join the Navy, had a cholesterol of over 300, would NOT take the statin drugs to lower it, started smoking cigarettes, and keeled over dead as a doornail at 57. Yes to his dying day he had plenty of room to criticize me and others, and avoid all fault taking on his own. I even got him a job at my work and all he did was moan and sabotage a job that, were the FIRST TIME, he made decent money, got some modest Stock options, etc. Sadly he was SUCH a good mechanic and restorer and did his work job well. I had to get a bit non-linear with him to make him aware of how badly he was screwing things up for NO REASON. Annnnnd, he quit and ended up selling ALL of this great auto repair gear to make ends meet. He'd proclaim, "I pay my bills!" yet had a 10,000 dollar debt with Snap-off. You can't help people like this and at the end they have to just live with themselves, and yes, best to do it yourself if at all possible.
Never thought Id hear Andrew say "if you like hitting jumps with your truck" 🤣
Yea funny huh!
Be sure to mount the snow plough first tho..
That metal circular saw blade is impressive, cut pretty clean and fast, considering the thick plate you cut.
Do you know what kind of blade you used? I am just curious did cut clean and quick.

That turned out great! Your truck is pretty strong to start with and with that bumper it's a beast! I admire your abilities to both design something then actually bring it to life!👏🏻👏🏻
I think Andrew was using that derelict car as a make-shift road grader blade. It seemed to do the job pretty well. And he's right; you never know when a rogue electric dryer will run across the street in front of you so you need a front bumper for your truck that will do the job. And after a bit of modification, he has one.
He just needs skid plates under the truck from front to back now.
Man I was laughin' sooooo hard!
Roadway moose crossings in Alaska are the leading cause of vehicular fatalities.
Electric dryer impacts are the second worst!!
That’s the one thing I love about this guy is he does stuff mostly by himself and it always works and functions correctly how he wants it. It reminds me of how I’m am because is love working and building stuff by myself.
I bet at least 75% of his subscribers are saying yes I concur and feel the same way including myself

Andrew you are truly a visionary man. Really motivating. The things you do are a great reminder to push the boundaries. Keep it up.
Amazing display of welding, and modifying talent. Also, thank you for showing us those interesting methods of testing of the strength of that new bumper.
Andrew is by far a real piece of work, in the best of all he is ,His videos are the best things on the internet love to watch them more than anything onTV. My opinion only. As always Andrew great job, thanks to all who have read my comments , I've never gotten so many before.
TV has nothing on AC. Really all of CZcams.
Dude that was AWESOME
Andrew's getting the views for a reason. Great video as always
Best at running down someone’s product !
yeah even when he gets given shit for free to "test it out" and he has no problem shitting on their stuff if it's a load of crap
I never cease to be amazed by your ingenuity and rugged determination to solve the most frustrating projects. You've made an old man optimistic about the youth of America.
One small modification turned in to an epic Andrew video, plenty of twists and turns, every tool used and it looked brand new at the end! Brilliant work Andrew 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love this channel and how far you have come, thank you all
This whole video is exactly why I want to learn how to weld. Fabricate and fix my own equipment. I lost it with the bumper testing with the washer and car!😂😂 The most unique, but probably also the most fun way to do so! I love the videos!!
I bought my first welder when I was 18, my first set of torches when I was 19 .. and That was over 40 years ago, Still have them both and still use them, maybe monthly now I'm retired.
It'd be impossible for me to calculate how many tens of thousands of dollars I've made with them .. and hundreds of times I saved the day, when I just had to fix it myself.
You’re never too old to enjoy dragging an old Car around the place!
That was a Hoot, Andrew. Lots of mods on the new bumper, but it
Looks like it was all worth it... really enjoy watching the Labs enjoying
Life!!
3 new Andrew "work" videos in just over a week!! Absolutely fantastic! Can't wait for the next! And a great new way to grade the drive! 👍
The end result is the goal. If you just slapped on a store bought solution, that would be dime a dozen. It's the creative problem solving steps and watching you go through at least some of the fabrication that keeps the interest level high. Longer videos are just fine. It's what you do that not many others take the time to show or know how to do. These are some of your best. Please keep em coming.
Andrew you make the best videos period. It's always content that you can enjoy and learn something from.
Been watching since 2018 (so sorry about Levi by the way) and I am now in my 2nd year of welding school. Because of how simple you made things seem, I got really into diesel and welding technology.
Thank you so much for all you do. It's been so cool to see the castle transform over time. Can't wait to see what's next with the mountain!

Andrew, I have to say I find your videos so motivational just to ‘give it a go’ when repairing things. My Stihl combi system wasn’t working right and I figured it out mostly thanks to watching so many of your ‘large and in charge’ videos. If you can have a go then so can we. Well done mate. That turned out way better than I thought it would. Good job Andrew.
OMG. That Mod/Fab is absolutely awesome!!! Love that 9" York rake at the end. Full driveway width, too!!

Found this awesome channel back in the culvert replacing days and have been hooked ever since! It doesn't matter how long the video is 45 mins, 2 hrs, it goes by so quickly and at the end, just wanting more! I appreciate all the hard work, effort, and time you put in with editing, camera placement, driving with drone shots, and music. Thanks Andrew.
Been here for a long time now, back when the castle was being first built and when you first dropped your t-shirts, I ordered one to England. I am continually amazed at t how well all these videos are put together. Especially over a long time period! Andrew, I'd love to see a quick video on your cataloging saving and edit process. It's something I've wanted to learn myself.
I agree the software I use on my channel s/%$s.
Andrew the story of your evolution noted here shows a man unafraid to accomplish great goals by dint of planning and execution. Your expedient fabrication and welding alone is inspiring. I really enjoy your work, TFS it.

Andrew Camarata concrats to you Sir.
You won this weeks 1e price - the cast iron sledge hammer - for your outstanding hille billy iron work on the bumber. It was just fantastic. And your testwork can not be beaten by anyone. Super Andrew, love your style.
I knew eventually this upgrade on the truck was gonna happen, because i've watched all your video's, and have been following this channel since close to the beginning. If you have seen all the video's, you know that heavy duty bumpers are not new to andrew, amongst other heavy duty upgrades on other parts of his vehicle's. Really, i was a bit surprised that the bumper upgrade hadn't happened sooner. Andrew is probably right about not everyone should have that bumper, because whoever gets hit, they're probably gonna die, or be seriously injured, depending on what they are driving. He does need this bumper though, that's a sketchy path up that mountain. Thanks for the video, wish you would make a shirt that says," look how this broke for no reason, a truck made out of tinfoil and plastic. You could add a drawing of one of the vehicle's that broke for no reason. G-d bless.
Amen!!,, 🙏.

That was the best video to test a bumper. And you found a new drag to redo your roads. Keep up the awesome videos.
SUGGESTION: For rough(actually quite decent) bent body panel repair get a vacuum pull rod. Its a rod with sliding hammer on it, with 10cm diameter really soft and adaptive to uneaven surfaces rubber sucker with a hole in a middle. the hole on the sucker is connected through the rod to the back of it to quick fit vacum connection. You can pull miracles in seconds with that thing, and even keep the paint in tact, as it does not create sharp bends. You can pull it just with body force, hammer, or combined- it would do miracles on that fender in seconds.
You Rock Andrew, great fab work to make it fit, loved the testing at the end, you have to test your work to make sure it's right! great video.
As always it was a hell ton lot of fun watching you builing and crushing stuff. Stay safe
Great video! Love the testing of the bumper. Video was so clear. Felt like we were right there.
Looking forward to seeing more of the tree clearing/road smoothing equipment in future videos.
You already made that fender look better earlier in the video so even with that new scratch it's still an improvement lol.
And I haven't laughed out loud that hard in a long time, especially once you started dragging it around on the chain. And that scene where you come bombing into frame through the field and onto your driveway was one of the best filmed shots I've Ever seen and had me laughing so hard, I'm going to have to watch that again. Best entertainment Ever. And the best part is now No One can say you ruined that bumpers strength.
Thanks so much for the effort you put into your videos, I can't wait for the next one.
