Motorcycle gangs are super cute.
-Inseparable friends
-Matching Outfits
-Off on adventures together
Such wholesome adorable fun, lucky ducks.
I'd even argue it's heckin....wholesome.
My neighbor was in a motorcycle gang, spent time in prison after doing a drive by on a house, leading the cops on a high speed rolling gun battle while high on meth with a stolen gun.
When he left the gang they beat him within an inch of his life, including flaying the tattoos off him. So wholesome...
@@mrsleep0000 Yes, real motorcycle gangs are not particularly wholesome. That's what makes my joke funny.
It could also be used to mock those guys who ride superbikes together in matching power ranger outfits
@@mrsleep0000I think you did. To pick up on the sarcasm dude.

I’m so happy to see this post, was really hoping I wasn’t the only one thinking of Onizuka while watching this. What an absolute badass, that OP where flushes a toilet like as if revving a bike, then smoking a cigarette while naked went hard af.
Speaking of the Japanese; the fact that we haven’t had a video on anyone from the 442nd Japanese-American division is sad
They’re badass! I’ve posted to fat electrician videos for him to videos about them too. They need to be talked about more, and they need their own band of brothers type of mini series for being the most awarded regiment ever.
I agree. Where's the love for Mr Myiagi
Nisei Regiment?
A whole exhibit is dedicated to them in the National WW2 Museum in New Orleans, LA.
Its so badass. They've also got a hunk of trinitite
Been here since Roof Koreans and I hadn't really given it any thought... but yeah no J/A Soldiers. DANG.

I was thinking the thing lol. Never expected to hear something about my boys on a dankula video
You don't need to explain it.

Some of his staff are fans.
I thought the same thing! even had to skip back and double check I heard him right.. never would have taken him as a 40k fan. Literally never heard him say fuck all about it before.

Hells Angels started as a WWII bomber group.
Yes they did and the biker group got permission from the original bomber squadron to use the name
@@herbertorendorff6323 Original members were the bomber squadron.
The whole cafe racer scene was started from pilots of the RAF. Kinda funny how three main bike subcultures (Choppers, Cafe racers and bosozoku) all had the same origin story
hells angels by howard hawks was about a ww1 biplane squadron. the real squadron continued in ww2 and kicked ass but the name goes way back to the earliest fighter planes. and the hells angels oaska were started by ex bosozoku punk rock banks. i cant remember the main dudes name but of you see a japanese ha with a short taxi driver mohawk thats him.
16:49 Suddenly it makes sense there was a biker gang in the Pokémon games, as a template of opponents on routes.
you can see them everywhere in Osaka on weekend nights ,
they still ride 100+ deep and you can hear them revving all night
It must feel weird. It's not as if they're oblivious to the decline in their sub-culture. Just sat out there riding around on weekends or even just reflecting on those days after having moved on. And realising that this thing that was once a central part of their life may not exist anymore in a generation or two.
Bosozoku is very alive and well in Okinawa.
I view em as harmless teenagers making noise. But damn they're annoying lol.

You should look into the Mormon wars. Joesph smith was insane and could qualify as a mad lad in my humble opinion.
I think its really funny that the reason the mormons dont consume caffeine, is because they were all fighting over tea and coffee on the way to Utah, so the leaders said "alright god says no more coffee now". Then when they got to utah they all drank "mormon tea" which had ephedrine, the main feedstock for methamphetamine
Outlawed, Survived tarring and feathering, founded a tribe that endures to this day (although Brigham Young may have built it up from his foundations) and went out in a blaze of glory (while making a leap for freedom).

Speaking as a Japanese national, being a member of a Bosozoku was never cool, but was feared in the 80's. The recession may have contributed to its decline as the insane spending by the folks in Japan came to a halt and parents weren't as keen to buy their kids what was essentially expensive toys. At the high of the Japanese bubble, everyone, and I mean everyone working was experiencing crazy pay rises like which has not been seen anywhere in the world (before or since). This meant that even modest family with a single parent income had cash to spare and this obviously led to younger kids being gifted motorcycles (this was before high schools around Japan banning students from commuting on them) Not everyone was given a bike of course. But motorcycles were so prevalent back then in Japan, it was not difficult to steal one or buy motorcycles for cheap that insurance wrote off after a minor accident and fix them up yourself on the cheap.
One of the biggest reason why the Bosozoku fell off was because of the shifting idea of what was considered 'cool' in the young generation. Late 70's til about the early 90's was dominated by the macho stereotype in all forms of media. Being 'strong' was considered cool and the young generation not knowing the meaning of 'moderation' just went hard. Having fights, arguing with teachers (and sometimes beating them up), skipping school to drink & smoke underage -- basically not giving a fuck was considered epitome of cool at one point. And what group epitomizes these ideals at the time? Biker gangs.
Around the beginning of the 90's the cool factor of being a loud mouthed bad boi dropped off, people saw you as a nuisance, those that were in Bosozoku in the 80's grew up to be shitty adults with shitty prospects and the younger generation sobered up. Suddenly doing well in school and in sports were seen as the new ideal. You see a change in popular media of bad bois turning 'good' through sports or education becoming popularized (a trope that was pretty popular until recently)
Bosozoku is nothing but a shell of its former self now. The young generation are keeping it alive as many people have come to recognize the cultural significance of the gang/movement but are staying away from the violence aspect of. Really annoying how they rev the shit out of their bikes all the time tho.
Love the white scars reference go fast for the emperor!
Not too fast or I'll call the grey knights on you.

Damn you Dankula, that "RACKED DISCIPRINE" part had me chuckling for an hour after the video...
I lived in Japan for 5 years with the Navy. Bikers would stop traffic just riding in circles in intersections and reving their motors. Police could do little because they were stuck in traffic. They like to drive through towns at 2 in the morning revving there motors and make a lot of noise.
Its always a good day when dank releases a new video 🙌🥳

The tough guy part with a picture of linkara had me rolling
I had a run in with one gang quite a few years ago. They were taking up the entire road, riding 10 kph under the speed limit and I was late for an emergency as a result.
We also call them "Yankees" ヤンキー. I see them sometimes while driving around at night.
On the mention of Akira, we not only all know what the “Akira slide” is but we have seen it in works as recent as _Nope_
Do look up Bosozoku bike designs everyone, they’re wild.
While you’re doing that also look up japanese truckers, some of them do stuff that might be even gaudier.
The specific Japanese word for such a trucker subculture is _dekotora_ which is an abbreviation for "decorated truck". I first saw a body of one that can be used for a basis model in Choro Q HG 4.
