- Welcome back to God of War Ragnarok!
Don't judge me, I love him!
We're off to Asgard again to chill with Thor and Thrud, though things aren't as chill as we would hope they would be. But at least we have some wild times and fun! :D
I hope you got your comfy pants on, and I hope you're ready, this fight is amazing!

i just have so much fun watchin you playing god of war games
I have so much fun playing them. I'm in the process of recording another series, but I'm itching to play GoW!!!
Thor's gotta be my favorite character from Ragnarök (besides Kratos, of course), so sad to see him like this but Ryan Hurst did an overwhelming performance; the way Thrúd talks to him makes me tear up every single time. I'm happy to always watch your playthroughs.
57:43 hahaha I loved how Atreus moves away, it's the legs XD
I get the impression Thor is an Alcoholic and for his family he gave up drinking, if you notice in the beginning with the mead, he only smells it and “gives” some to Mjölnir, but doesn’t drink any. Unfortunately being treated the way he has been by Odin has driven to drinking again.
Honestly, it hurts so much to see what has become of Thor. He was doing so well, but Odin just knew how to push and hurt him. Thor must have felt so disappointed when Thrud saw him. ;-;
I love this part, the pub brawl was great, but then the game makes you feel bad for Thor. It’s been building all this time, you see how badly he’s treated by his father, but then you see how self destructive Thor has become because of it. Not to mention the performances by Ryan (Thor) and Mina (Thrúd)…
This scene, one of my favourites! It's incredible! :D but yeh, to see where it leads them and why, it's so sad. :< all the actors/actresses were incredible in this!
Kratos: Remember our promise.
Atreus: I will. What was it again?
Kratos: HMMM...
😁
Their relationship from 2018 to now, it's gorgeous!
25:31, yeah he basically insinuated that Atreus isn’t old enough to be in there, as he called him a brjóstbarn or a child still at his mother’s breasts.
OOOOOH! Amazing! XD idk what I thought they said.
"...and your husband started drinking again all on his own."
Odin has been trying to get Thor to start drinking again since the beginning of the game.
It depresses me that Odin pushes and pushes Thor to his limit and treats him like crap. I honestly adore Thor so much.
13:21 Nice. Fenrir wants to play fetch with a tree.
The thing is Kratos might be one of only a few people that could actually do that. I really want that scene now. Kratos just tossing a tree as far as he can off into the horizon and Giant Fenrir just blasting away everything thing in his path to go get it.
He's such a good boy!
Even the musicians in the pub know it's time to start playing some action music for the bar brawl.
They were waiting for this! XD
@Brighttime2.0 As soon as Thor walked in, I bet
27:34 Atreus does not like being called "BOY" anymore.
He is man now! XD
10:26 Sindri with the Deus ex machina.
Sindri is the best, he's always one step ahead. :'3
54:41 This was the scene where I finally realized that Sif was Elena Fisher. Can't believe it took me so long when I played it.
Omg, it is. You can ruddy see and hear it! :o
13:55 "So I was right about your knife."
God of War doing it again. Changing the actual mythology around a bit, but still applying it in a way. Loki and Angrboda are the parents of the World Serpent and Giant Fenrir. Now we can't have teenagers engaging in an "Aphrodite Boss Fight" in order for that to happen, but Angrboda taught Atreus how to put a Giant soul into another creature with the big snake. The soul they put in was of a Giant called Jormungandr and the snake becomes the World Serpent, so they created him together.
She also told Atreus that there was a soul in his knife. That ended up being Fenrir's soul that Atreus whispered out at the beginning of the game. If she hadn't have told him that Atreus would've had no idea it was in there. Knowing it was in there gave Atreus the idea to put the soul into Garm. So, without Angrboda's help Giant Fenrir wouldn't have been created either. So, from a certain point of view Angrboda and Loki created those the World Serpent and Giant Fenrir. So, sort of "parents."
I love that change tho! It's a clever reinterpretation of the mythology, plus, they didn't have the time for actual child-rearing, so it's amazing to me. I love the hint that the snake is Jormungandr as well and how it all does a full circle later on. :'3 I do wish we got more Jormungandr tho! I love him!!
@Brighttime2.0 I like the change, too. I meant it as a compliment.
@@stonecoldku4161 i saw your compliment! :'3 Santa Monica did so well with their interpretation of this game, it's gorgeous!
Another great episode! Bright, I'm guessing you finished the game ages ago.. Can you give us a 3 word tease of your thoughts for the next episode?
Emotional AF, wild AF, exciting AF!
Only 2 more episodes, sadly!
55:22 dad bod XD
And Thor rocks it ~
the new 6 pack lol
:)
:3
Oh, the next episode is going to be a rough one.
It is, but it's such a good one too!
