My heart hurts. I cried during editing.
I hope you got your comfy pants on, and I hope you're ready, this part is gonna hurt...

YUSS the episode we have been waiting for. Haven't watched it yet but I already know it'll be a wild ride of emotions and Bright-esque expletives 😂. Thank you for playing this game and letting us experience it with you 🥰
I hope you enjoy, Gareth! :D i had a few choice words! XD of course, I'm happy to share all these experiences with you guys! ^^ thank you for joining me ~
Great job detective 🕵️♂️
Thank you ~ ;3
I actually love you got the hints about Tyr being a traitor, even you noticed once the raven sound inside the Tyr´s room, you are amazing Bright Time. love your gameplays
Honestly, I'm so proud! I had suspicions about him since Alfheim, there was just something not right! XD
Thank you, Der! :'3 I hope you've enjoyed this series! ^^
And also his name on the subtitle, it's spelled Tyr not Týr
@@streamspoart2671 I love that subtle hint!!
No matter how many times i see this part of the game it always kicks me like a mule.
It's devastating right?! I didnt believe they would do anything like that. :
awwwwww mann, I caught up with the recent episodes just now, I was dreading this part. Brok u are my man I will miss u, but Sindri's reaction was even more heartbreaking
This part was unreal. I really never thought, of all the characters, it would be Brok. I honestly expected it to be Freya.
@@Brighttime2.0 I mean seeing Sindri work without his gloves, covered in dirt and blood really struck a chord for me, an absolute germophobe but now too broken and hurt to care about anything just pure sadness and misery
@@extraordinarygamer937 Same, his change is so quick but believable, he's lost everything, he's so broken it's devastating to see. I want to see him in the future and know he's okay.
It’s been difficult keeping quiet these past several episodes… there are other hints. The major one everybody has to point out is that when all the characters refer to Týr it’s spelled this way with the accent, when he speaks, his name is written without the accent, Tyr… a small hint, but it’s been there since the beginning… anyway, good job knowing something was up….
I confess I felt a little more trusting, at least more so at first, for a longer while than you, but over time like you he began to feel more off to me, and then the reveal took me by surprise of who he was, as I missed the big hint too… but yeah… Damn Odin, we knew he likes being steps ahead, but this just hurt!
Tbh, I only noticed Tyr's name missing the accent after reading some stuff online once completing the game and was like *waaaait! What?!*. I'm kinda proud of myself for being sus about him, I was off but so close at the same time.
He broke my heart killing Brok. I couldn't believe it happened for a while. It hurts when they say his soul won't make it to Alfheim. We didn't need to know that.
And Sindri's attitude after... ;-;
Yeah… out of all the characters, why it have to be Brok… sigh. I guess true to form it makes sense, it’s Odin’s nature for him to go after the vulnerable, the broken. It’s a pattern.
And yeah, Sindri just isn’t the same now, and yeah… it hurts. Can’t help but take my hat off to them though, because wow, it’s again a credit to the writers and of course the actor. They took one of the sweetest and kindest and most empathetic characters, and pushed him over the edge and the acting behind that is insane. Especially because it’s mostly from his voice. I mean the motion capture and CGI stand in adds to it, but most of it comes from his vocal performance.
Oh and one other note on Sindri… not to compound the sadness, but it’s a very … telling thing they did awesomely. We know how much Sindri is broken, even if he didn’t say anything. He was operating the forge without his gloves! He literally now gives no fecks about anything.
@@joeb918 He never cleaned Brok's blood off his clothing either and that broke me. :
Btw, I know it might be still raw pain, but here’s a fun Easter egg… Týr isn’t the only disguise Odin used… if you have the ability to do so from an older save…. Look closely at the dwarves when you first reach their city in Niðavellir. One of the game artists in the game dropped a hint very early on.
If you look at the name Tÿr when he is talked about VS when Oden spoke as him they have to Different spellings Very subtle difference, but it's there. Hard to pick up on, but it's from the beginning.
That little hint is so clever, I love it!
Still need to try and play this still in its box im sad to say...all good fun video..
ANDREW! PLEASE! YOU NEED TO PLAY! XD ITS SO GOOD!
I love these games so damn much. Like, it really tears you apart but it does everything for a purpose.
That detail I feel really helps make the loss you feel authentic. This game is rough
Yes! I 100% agree! I feel that in this game they really stepped up on the character development and interactions between characters, not just with Kratos and Atreus, it's so good, and you really get a sense of who they are, what their values are and their relationships. I adore this game so much!
The way this series matured is outstanding
@@DooMest 100% Agree, it's beautifully handled!
In the last episode, at 8:44. Tyr said "And give us a pair of eyes in the enemy's sanctum". I couldnt help but notice the subtle change of expression you made and you kept looking at Tyr weirdly
Yes, it was what he said that had me questioning, because I've been believing that Tyr is those eyes in the enemies sanctum. I think I was going to say something, but because it's a cut sequence, I try not to talk during them. ^^
Adding onto that, I've been suspicious of him since Alfheim. His pessimistic attitude didn't sit right with me. In my head, there are 2 ways things could have gone with The being imprisoned:
1: He was resentful of Odin and would want revenge
2: He was brainwashed by Odin to do his bidding.
There's probably multiple angles Santa Monica could have taken, but these two were ones that I thought of. And with him being so pessimistic and against this war that is inevitable, it had me thinking it had to be brainwashing of some form. So him saying 'eyes in the enemies sanctum', to me it was like a hint that we weren't safe in our own sanctum. :3
I hope that explains it. ^^
"Dwarf of War"
He certainly goes to war. ;-;
Original God of War GOAT
END OF DISCUSSION!
Bright Time is the best!.
Lol! :'3 bo Fazi, you are the best!
When Odin saw that Groa lied to him, that's when he decided to have Heimdall steal the moon as an attempt to stop Ragnarök from happening. He didn't see the shrine about someone returning the moon to the sky, so he didn't realize he was feeding right into the prophecy in his attempt to avoid it.
Hahah! Odin wishes he was the smartest man alive! XD
3:45 I love the music cues during this part of the game. When Odin/Tyr starts his speech and everyone starts laying out the plan the music sounds cheerful, inspirational and hopeful. But then whenever Brok starts expressing his doubts the music immediately switches to suspicious and tense. Bear McCreary is so good.
The musical hints are so smart!
47:17 This kill animation is always funny to me. Kratos looks like a muscle head bully popping somebody else's beachball at the beach.
"I want to push Tyr in that fire. Is really what I'm thinking. He might be too big for it."
You could always chop him into smaller pieces.
I could, but the shock factor of being pushed into fire would be great!
Lunda made armor out of dog barks. I wonder what she could create with Giant Fenrir's barks. Probably a Sherman Tank.
I want Fenrir bark armour now!
It is a lot of fun going back through these playthroughs and finding all the clues that Odin was disguised as Tyr all along. I try to stay away from going online to look for everything that people have found that points to Odin/Tyr, and every time I watch a playthrough or replay the game I think I find something new.
:)
:3
"You want sorry. This is what sorry looks like."
This episode hit harder. My grandfather passed away last Thursday. I'm doing okay but this scene is always tough to get through and now it's hitting in a fresh wound.
Oh KU, I'm so sorry for your loss! If you need anything, feel free to reach out, I'm here for you in any way I can be!
@Brighttime2.0 Thanks. I appreciate that. I'm okay though.
@@Brighttime2.0 Sarcastic me: Could you hop on a plane, fly to the US and then give me a hug?
@@stonecoldku4161 I wish I had the funds to do that! :'3
23:59 His gloves are off, his armor still has Brok's blood on it, and he is using Brok's hammer to make the sword. Sindri is just so broken here. And after Atreus says, "I thought we were his family too," and Kratos replies "We were," you can hear Sindri being to sob in the background.
Oh God, that is so heartbreaking! Our poor man, I'm still devastated!
59:24 "Uh...Surtur?"
No, it's Tinker Bell. You just saw him turn into that Atreus, who the hell else would it be?
Gotta love Surtrbell!
"I know this...shortcuts always have a price."
So, you're telling me to never look up something on Wikipedia, Kratos?
The developers described Brok as "the family dog" everybody in cared for him. He could be annoying or troublesome at times, but he cared for everyone, and everyone cared for him, so it would affect all the characters in that home.
1:09:21 I'm willing to bet that somebody, somewhere, at some point in time will get this image tattooed somewhere on their body. If they've not done it already.
Initially, that was going to be my thumbnail for this episode, but I couldn't ignore poor Brok and Sindri!
I love that pose.
I'm planning on getting a GoW tattoo, I'm considering the Axe and Blades on the backs of my legs. :'3
14:47 🤣 What?! LMFAO! 🤣
good riddance XD
SIR! SIR!
ARE YOU OKAY?!
yes lol
