      Is it really PCIe gen4 riser cable? As you've stated @23:40 one could think so, but I think it's "PCIe4 compatible" or something like this and not entirely PCIe4 so by going with this Intel based build you've dodged the bullet ;)

      The official release is December 3rd, 2021. There are a few pre-orders available at Newegg but they are not shipping 'till the end of the year. By that point, an NZXT H1 fire-free edition should be available. Edit: Turns out the release date on Newegg which was 3:12:21 means the 12th of march, I read it wrong bc I am English not American, and read dates the British way.

    Nice build. Fyi, you can pre-route the mobo 8-pin aux power and 24pin primary *under* the mobo before screwing it down (the cables lay between the mobo and the tray in the gap created by the stand-offs. Both cables thenloop around on back and into the top and side to reach their respective connections. At least that's how I did mine. Obviously this is (and was) easier with thinner cables. It eliminates the cables running up the middle of the case between the fans and the components.

    Honestly, this case is everything that the Phanteks Shift v2 should have been.
    Just hit the end of the video: those PSU cables (flat ribbon style ones) can be split into their individual strands really easily (if you're careful) - I had to separate the wires on my 24 pin cable (SF600 gold) to get it to lay even remotely tidily in my NR200. Easy mod to do and saved a load of cash on a custom cable.

    Solid case though I feel the NR200 is still a better no-compromises case for most people;
    -is 1/2 the price in many regions when you factor in s&h
    -doesn't require a riser
    -easy cable routing that doesn't require right angle connectors. This is big for those of us that have HDMI 2.1 cables.
    -large air cooler support
    I like the reduced footprint of vertical cases (heck I owned the Velka 7) but I don't see myself switching from an NR200 to this.

    Interesting layout, is reminiscent but a standing up version of some of those HTPC Silverstone cases that had this side by side layout that was a bit chunkier. This is fine but given the recent, *second* recall of the NZXT H1 I am at this point on the "Please, no more raiser cables, kthxbye" camp even if the companies named here I could probably trust a lot more to not create a fire hazard with it, I like having at least the option of no raiser so I would still probably default to the NR200 since you've got a lot more flexibility for a really not that different size.
    One option however that I would like to see as an option, is similar to that "No GPU" option but one for a more uncommon configuration: half height PCI-E. It's uncommon but some of the lower end 1050 and 1650 class cards can get away with just a half height GPU and it looks like that would fit nicely. Just some thoughts if the people behind the case get a look, it would go a long way for some of the versatility options available and it doesn't looks like it would involve retooling since you already have a similar accessory present.

    Man, why can't the power butoon & usb ports be on the front panel? Being at the top it will be awkward sitting it flat.

    With the H1 being a fire hazard, this case is a huge opportunity for the sffpc community. I haven’t built a pc in over 10 years and this one is probably what I will build in next. Looks easy enough for someone like me. E.g. no skills.

    If I'm not mistaken I think it supports up to 330mm length gpus you can shift the bracket farther down.

    really want to switch to this case. but i would have to buy a z390 itx motherboard, sfx power supply, and 2 new sticks of ram on top of the case. would cost about 800$ in total. expensive at the moment

    Does the radiator placement matter? Tubes on top or bottom ?
