Ally was always so incredible and so level headed. Bobby and Jill raised an incredible woman.
Shout out to Bobby’s memory! He was such an amazing man and truly inspiring. I’m so glad many of us got to meet him even if it was just through tv!
Jill is very lucky her daughter still talks to her after this huge lie!!!!! Things could have turned out very differently for their relationship.

Most recipients live near each other and are in the same economic bracket. Unless you want your kid sleeping with their sibling, you need to tell them from day one!!!

People are not focused on that because a lot of people have hidden adoptions, etc. I think now people are more accepting and open about a lot of subjects but it used to be very different.
I think in the 80s and 90s people that did donar insemination were advised to keep it a secret. Now we better understand the harm it can cause. Hindsight is 20/20.

Totally agree with Jill! I grew up with my bio parents being my parents. But my mom and her two sibs were adopted when my mom was 6 by their dad (their mom married him and he's the only man I've ever known as Grandpa). My mom's mom and her sister were similar, when my grandma was about 6 (their mother suffered from post-partum depression and in those days it was handled much differently than it is now, she was put away in a facility and spent 27 years institutionalized) their father remarried and that woman adopted them. My dad had a girlfriend in high school that became pregnant. They wanted to get married, but her family stepped in and basically told my dad that he was not going to be a part of their daughter's life. He saw his son in the delivery room and then the very next day shipped off for the Army (summer of 1979). In the early '90s we were in Texas visiting family and my parents attempted to track them down, but a mutual friend told my parents that my brother and his mom had moved out of state and they didn't know how to get in touch. It wasn't until 2012, with the help of Facebook, that my mom was able to track down my brother, his mom had passed the year before. I grew up knowing that I had a brother, my parents were always honest with us (my sister and me) about it. I imagine the shock it would have been had we not known and suddenly there was this person who shared my DNA. Enough with the secrets! They will come out in the end, it's better to just be honest!

I’m surprised they didn’t touch on why Jill chose a sperm bank and how long after did she meet the man that Ally thought was her dad for so long.
It's different now. I know someone who used a donor recently. She chose the donor out of many, and had access to his background and childhood photos. All the families that used that donor are connected on Facebook, so the half-siblings are known. The donor signed an agreement that any offspring can contact him when they turn 18 if they wish.

I need to say that I love how Jill allows Ally to tell her own story Nd explained the candles business.
I just had seen these two when they were read by Tyler Henry. And so I had to watch this video. I was adopted and after both my parents passed (within five weeks of each other) I did a DNA test through Ancestry. The first day I got my results I found a half sister. And a few months later in one night I found, three more half sisters and a half brother! And since then yet another half brother. lol And we believe there's probably more! I'm so glad that Ally found her biological father! Both my biological parents were already deceased, so I do urge her to meet her biological Dad. I had an amazing DNA Angel help me work up a family tree. It really is a blessing to find my biological family. Good Luck Ally!

Hellen is probably just jealous of her looks or life, who knows. Avery seems like a genuinely good person and a happy person and grateful for all the little things.good for her

Ally inadvertently found an email on her Mom's computer. The email was from 1 of Jill's relatives. Asking Jill why Ally's eye color were blue, why she was short, etc. unlike other relatives. Ally was 20 years old at that time.

Sorry, but I am a HUGE believer in the fact that one of people's basic rights is to know who they are and where they come from. Unsure how I even feel about donors, but even when using one, to keep that secret from them and have them live false beliefs their whole life only to spend another chunk of their lives having to get used to a new set of beliefs and try to discover one of their basic rights of who they are and where they come from, it seems cruel.

Idk...I see both sides but the burden of that as a child is the parents responsibility and sometimes a decision needs to be made as a parent when a kid could mentally handle the information. They are her parents thats not going to change.

They're trying to make this sound so fabulous and such a wonderful revelation to find a dozen 1/2 siblings who were never intended to know each other. But, a husband and wife having 12 children in the same home as one family is considered irresponsible. Just look at the excitement in Ally when she talks about 1/2 siblings.
We favor adopting rescue dogs from orphanages over kennels but, when it comes to children, we're applauding designer children over the one's who already need homes: rescue children.

Are you aware of the price difference between sperm donation and adoption? Are you aware of the difference between IVF and adoption? I didn’t know Jill got a nose job. She looks like a different person. It’s weird her daughter was never told. My mom and stepdad told me I had a bio dad from as young as I could understand. I would always forget about him but they’d still tell me every once in a while until it stuck.
