- The ALL NEW Tundra is taking the truck world by storm for 2022. Toyota wanted to take the TRD Pro to the next level by showing what could be with this new platform. On the outside you will notice ultra flared carbon fiber fenders, 18in Method off-road wheels, custom steel bumper, and Rigid LED lights. On the inside you will be greeted to the all new interior with a 12.3in digital display and 14in infotainment system. Under the hood you have the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 paired with an electric motor to produce 437HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro a BETTER truck with the RIGHT mods?

This should be an option/upgrade package for Tundra Pro trim only. âDesert Chaseâ option. Toyota gonna park this Tundra in its museum next to the LFA and the many legendary cars they have there.

I bought an 07 Tundra brand new off the showroom as a Specialist in the Army. Beautiful damn truck! My first and only YOTA. Now I'm thinking that I will go back for that TRD PRO!! That's definitely a UNIQUE truck! I want it!

I believe itâs good that Toyota ditched the 5.7 litre naturally aspirated V8 in favour of a 3.5 litre twin turbo V6. The 5.7 litre V8 didnât have a lot of power and the fuel consumption was horrible.
Maybe,but it certainly lasted a long while.
They simply copied the proven design in the F150. It won't be as strong or have as many features for sure. No thanks. On my 5th F150. Never let me or my family dwn!
The new hybrid turbo setup is actually slower from 0-60 though by about half a second.

That bumper limits the options you can do with after market bumpers. Iâm sure they will come up with tons of after market bumpers but seems they are going to be small on such a big front.

Not sure if I missed it, but I would have liked to hear about the suspension more. How much travel? Shock size? Their new control arms? Are the rear shocks coming through the bed and attacking to a bed cage? Stuff actual off-road people want to know.

Lol bmw is garbage nowadays. Depreciated faster than a stock. Design is also ugly af and not to mention reliability after warranty ends. And this is coming from a guy who loves BMW's.

I could be wrong but I think the 2022 tundra TRD pro is a baja vehicle like the Raptor and Trx. Thats why the front has the orange lights that designate its wider than a normal truck like both of them

If price for trd pro is reasonable, I will definitely trade in my gen2 raptor for it.
I'm guessing, based on the price increase from the 2021 models, at least $63-64k starting out. The gas model 1794 starts at $59k, and hybrid cars are usually a few thousand more vs the standard models.

Both 2022 Tundra TRD PRO and 2022 Chevrolet Silverado you are talking about, with the exception of Ford F-150 Raptor I want to let you know that they lack of the 35-37 inch rims to do appropiate affroad. Both pick up are too big to be equipped with smaller tires than this cars should have, which makes 2022 Toyota TRD PRO and Chevrolet Sylverado to be seem like a cow walking on skate tires. In addition to this idea they do not have wheel steering in their 4 tires and both pick up are too expensive to be compared to 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor, eventhough this very 2022 FORD F-150 Raptor, Tundra and Chevrolet Sylverado should be equipped with the 4 wheel steering system and an additional air compressor to inflate and deflating tires when puncturing.
