    I absolutely LOVE the G-trains when I visit China. Went from Shanghai to Nanjing in 1:35 even though its about 200 miles away and it stopped a couple times on the way. Took first class, not business class. Looks nice!

    • @JacobysJourneys

      Ken Goldman Yeah, they are so fast and convenient. I definitely recommend taking business class if you return, it's not too much more if it's a shorter ride like that; and it's a really cool experience! Well, depending who you share the room with haha. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      The best part is how efficient and widespread it is too. It’s actually pretty amazing how many places you can go to through the train network, and they’re still expanding.

      Mr Wang well.... for me too sad because in south korea we don't have that one. Actullay they don't need it (korail KTX company) 😭. Any ways we had same train name tourtrain(관광호) in 1960's it was fastest train at that time 150km/h.

      I always enjoy their videos. Why do viewers like you seem to expect them to see China only through rose-coloured glasses? I have watched their videos for years, and I also live in China, and I find their viewpoints generally to be very balanced and fair, with both the positive and negative things about China discussed. Face it, no country is perfect, and if I were planning to move to China, I would want to know about it as it is, warts and all, not just be told how wonderful everything is!

    I travel a lot. My first choice will alway be high speed train. You don't have to wait more than one hour before departure. You don't have to go into so much trouble inspected by security. You don't have to worry about bad weather. You can move around the carriage, and go to bathroom whenever you want. Anther plus is that you can watch movies without having worry about the battery.

    The journey from Shanghai Hongqiao station (eastern coast of China) to Wuhan station (Central of China) on business class cost me nearly 1000 Rmb... but it worthed every penny haha. The whole journey is so relaxing even enjoyable to some extent, usually, commuters wish their trip time to be as short as possible but not in the case of riding business class on CRH.

      Mash Kyrielight 出国好多年看到家乡挺高兴,其实不是因为广西山多的原因,重庆成都山这么多都有300公里高铁了,山并不能阻止基建狂魔,还是政治因素造成的,我们广西壮王只想独大大西南把大西南资源卡在广西,却不知道自己几斤几两,2006年前是唯一一个没有高速公路与铁路通往广东的省份,人家江西湖南福建都抢着对接,直到06年广东林树森调到贵州做省长需要贵州跨越广西链接广东,至此广西才有了第一条高铁走动车250公里,也才有了直通广东的铁路,改革开放三十年,广西就是被这些领导层给带入坑了,是思维限制了广西的速度,外国友人可以不用管这种事情,呵呵

      Yeah, it's really cool how affordable the trains are here. Yeah the last time I took Amtrak in the U.S. it was pretty pricey, about 50 USD for a couple hour ride. Thanks so much! I mostly shoot in 1080 @ 30 or 60 FPS, although I'll probably start shooting in 4K once I upgrade my computer and editing software. I use a Panasonic Lumix G7 and use imovie to edit. • @JacobysJourneys
      @JacobysJourneys  Před 4 lety +1

      Ezio Auditore Hey, well for me personally, which I have easily flown on over 100 flights in my life, i’ve actually grown to prefer the train. Of course it depends where I’m going, but the time it takes to go check in bags, go through airport security, board the plane, wait for takeoff, land, offload the airplane, collect baggage and finally exit, I just feel the train is simpler. Get on and get off, but with a lot of people haha. Especially when riding business class in China, it’s great and not too expensive for shorter distances; but can also become more expensive than a flight. What do you think? Thanks for watching!

    Even in business class you have loud-talking passengers and a child wandering around! But it does look super-comfortable. I always take second class on the high speed trains - it gets me comfortably where I want to go, and cheaper. But if you were travelling at night, business class would definitely be the way to go!

      Graham Coles Haha yeah, I wasn't going to say anything.. but yeah, I'll just say I had to really edit the footage down to find the best clips where you can somewhat hear me talk. Yeah I'm the same, first class or second class is totally sufficient and usually how I travel here. It's nice to splurge a little and enjoy a spacious room, even if it's only for 1.5 hours haha. Still not bad for $30! Thanks for watching and sharing!

    • @zenzihu8341
      @zenzihu8341 Před 5 lety +3

      This Is for school it is because the ordinary class ( the cheapest ) is called “ second class “ , so it makes sense to have order such as “ 2nd class > 1st class > Business class “, better than “ 2 nd class > business class > 1st class “.
      You see what I mean ?

      crazzi-j north because people don't want to be informed if they can only take a third tier option. So make it two tier : first and second, and on top of that business which has nothing to do with tier( only to do with business, and business class is not a class to decided people's status). I guess that's why.
