- Since this is the seventh anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, in remembrance of the feelings of pride that we all had as Americans, this video was created. We should never forget our freedoms and liberties and the right to achieve the American Dream.
This is a tribute to those aspirations we all have, for our country, and our people.
The song is called Golden Dream, which is currently used for The American Adventure at Walt Disney Worlds Epcot.
Song was composed by Bob Moline.

It would be interesting to see who can list all of the historical figures that are put on the screen during the end of the song. I can name most of them, but many I can't. Who will be the first to list them all!

I feel like I'm about to burst into tears each time I see this show at Epcot. I hold it back because I don't want to walk out of the theater in tears, but goodness gracious, Disney did such an amazing job with this song!
My wife and always cry at this show.
Every time I come back to this, it re-unlocks a core memory. As a British citizen, I feel privileged to have been to the United States many-a-time over the 26 years I’ve been around. Our history connects us both as great nations. Much love to the USA.
For over 200 years, the American experiment has been such a wonderful adventure. A remarkable tribute to our courageous founding fathers and a testament to the hard work, vision, courage, and compassion of it's citizens. May God bless our wonderful country!!!

Now, we have among us those who are openly trying to tear our country down, in the name of "freedom" and "equality." All they're bringing is pain and anguish to us. And many of us are pushing back. Let's keep this free country alive by realizing that our freedoms are not a birthright. They're a gift our Founding Fathers gave us to preserve!

No this is not the original version. FalconSong under the direction of Lisa McIver at C. E. Jordan High Scchool, Durham NC Performed this before even the Disney professional singerrs did.,C. E.Jordan Falconsong (Durham NC). Falconsong was the proof of concept, and first proving grounds for this song.

@@Herfmonster Okay, if you want to be pedantic, let's change the statement to say this is the originally recorded version that was performed in The American Adventure in Epcot.
This was also performed and recorded by the Philadelphia Boys Choir as a test version around 1980. I still have the cassette.
I live in Orlando and have been to the Disney parks dozens of times. Everytime I am at Epcot (my favorite park) I make a point to visit teh American Adventure and cry at the end every time. A passionate and moving show!!!

The 12 statues in the hall (6 on each side of the main stage) represent the 12 "Spirits" of America-They are the Spirits of Adventure, Compassion, Discovery, Freedom, Heritage, Independence, Individualism, Innovation, Knowledge, Pioneering, Self-Reliance, and Tomorrow. As a former Interpreter and VIP Tour Guide at WDW, this was ALWAYS in my top 3 favorite attractions...I always got choked up, even after DOZENS of times experiencing this show, and even now get teary eyed. Enjoy!

That is the real Epcot cast of American adventure it’s really good to see them live in it not be a recording like in the American Adventure show where they just play it in the background

The original version of this song is still the best....not a fan of how they try to "modernize" it every few years....keep it in its original form... its so beautiful...literally brings me to tears simply because of the singing and harmony.

Yeah, this is a country that has freedoms many other countries don't. I've loved it since I first learned of Constitution Day in 1987. Because I love it so much, it disturbs me that minorities and subcultures want to wreck it and re-write history.

I love the original song and the video from the American Experience at Disney World. This remade video completely erases any pics of slavery - over 200 years dismissed.
The end of this song always makes me cry. The landing on the moon was one of the greatest acheivements in the world. It's so sad to see an era that is a source of so much pride for our country is ending.
Why is this not THE NATIONAL ANTHEM??? It's so much better than the Star Spangled Banner.

Wow, you're pretty good...and I think pretty accurate actually. Most of his stuff was done for Epcot, but he was originally hired by Disney to write a song called, "It could only happen at Disneyland" which aired on both radio and tv in California long, long ago. It's been a really long time since I've been to Disneyland in Anaheim, but I do remember some of his music being played outside of Space Mountain (instrumentally only) while you waited in line.

I have always thought that if we had to change our national anthem, it should be changed to this.
This I believe has since been moved from EPCOT(Which, by the way, stands for Experimental Potential Community Of Tomorrow[Which is loosely named]) to Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom. I believe they also added a part at the end when they added Barack Obama to it that has a younger chorus singing "America,
America, spread your golden wings. Sail on freedom's wind across the skyyyyyy...."
And on the way out the door, on the ramp downwards from the theater, it says those exact words in golden.

yeah pretty much everything, heck at one point a couple people had posted the soundtrack for "Tokyo Disneyland Is Your Land" but they have since been removed for copyright violations if one form or another. fortunately videos of "Tokyo Disneyland Is Your Land" The actual Show DO stillexist on here as do various performances of the Florida version

if i'm not mistaken wasn't this and "Disneyland Is Your Land" the only two songs your dad wrote that were used in California (it seemed like ALOT of his songs were only heard at Epcot Center)
There are seriously videos on youtube for everything, isn't there? No, from what I can remember, the music wasn't playing over the speakers once you got inside the building, it was playing outside of the Space Mountain attraction somewhat close to the Starcade. Memory is definitely fuzzy on that though. I think the last time I was there Captain EO was still being shown if that tells you anything. :)

Interestingly, this was one of the two songs that kept going through my head as a result of the patriotic fervor shortly after 9/11 ("God Bless The USA" by Lee Greenwood was the other).

They changed this song and it’s just not even close to the same anymore, doesn’t have the same passion. This will always give me goosebumps. The new version feels like a push of modern times and I don’t like it.
