Walt Disney said he was always proud to be an American, and this song really shows it even though the attraction featuring it was made years after his death. And listening to it now, what the lyrics say about America having to keep flying high really rings true today. We may have a long, troubling history of racism and it may feel that our lives have been taken over by this pandemic, but we must remember what we were founded on. Let’s not forget what America is supposed to be about. The best thing we can do is pursue our dream of being a better nation. God Bless the USA 🇺🇸 🙏🏻
I remember when I heard that music was a golden dream song it was from American Adventure when my parents and I both went to the florida about a couple years ago.
I get choked up on this attraction because my older brother loved it. He recently passed away, and loved his country. Whenever I go on it I always think of him makes me very emotional.

Considering all the controversy surrounding America's national anthem as of late, I wouldn't mind if Disney struck a deal with the US govt. and made *this* our national anthem instead. :)
This song makes me tear up a bit. It reminds me of the beauty and meaning of what the idea of America is and how we are letting our America drift away from what it is suppose to be. It's not about government and control and going to war all the time. It's about freedom, entrepreneurial ship, self reliance, nationalism. There will be a fight between those who want what's above and those who want communism/socialism/fascism.
