You keep your lines straight when you cut just by being careful or?

Does the yarn not fall out from where you cut the tufted area ?

Not usually, that’s also why it’s good to shave the edges as the last step to ensure everything is in place

Nothing was done to the edge. Twill it and then handheld sewing machine.
