BUYING A CAR IN HARARE Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 ||🥱🫢OMG = swimming in sea without live jacket 🧥

Is a biggest risk. Usually people buy second hand cars from Japan and UK , Ship them to Zimbabwe through South Africa's Durban hubber , Namibia's Walvis bay or Tanzania then drive them into Zimbabwe through any port of entry . At these ports of entry into Zimbabwe you are required to pay import duty and other fees . There is usually pre-set duty for specific models of cars and most cars that are driven in Zimbabwe are generally second third or 4th hand cars ,of course some are brand new cars. In Zimbabwe any used car should be 10years old max for you to be allowed to import it. This is the recent development ( since approximately 2 years ago 2021 ,I will confirm ). As a result cars are a bit more expensive as newer cars are obviously pricy . This makes these Zim used cars which most could be close to end of life or near to go to scrape yards unreasonably expensive . And people just buy because there may be no other options .

It could be cheaper. Those are finished Cars as in overdone most of them . So importing via Namibia 🇳🇦 is a good idea . Some do that but importing from Japan is more cheap
