Roaming Reckless - The Backstory on Maria, Blue, Po... and a Land Rover Defender 110

- Traveling the country shoehorned into a Subaru wagon, Maria and Blue made van life look like one of luxury. But last year they brought a new member into the family, Po, a 1997 ex-British Military Land Rover Defender 110. We bumped into this inspiring trio in Moab, and spent a few days with them on the trial and learning about their backstory. Blue has quite a CZcams following, and his human chauffeur Maria shares how they jumped off the proverbial bridge to live a life of adventure on the road.

I absolutely adore Maria but she also has an excellent support system & is very young. It's not easy for everyone to just go do what she's doing. That being said, it's still good advice and I'm a huge fan of her channel.

Maria is awesome! That was so nice of you all to let her tag along and patiently explain the basics of low-range, off-road driving. I was thrown in the deep end when I started. This would have been a far more positive learning experience.

Maria…just watched your bee sting video…old tip…buy a can/box of powdered snuff (my aunt told me this decades ago, it works) make a thick paste with snuff water mixture, apply to sting, only once. It stops the burn and prevents swelling. I’ve used it over 60 years, yes I’m a grandmother. Thank me later!

I love this trio and all of their travels and adventures my question is where does your funding come from 10,000$ for tow money is never an issue 😮
Her dog caught my eye, so well trained and loving. Now I am interested in that lifestyle (car camping, vanlife, suvlife, etc...I even made a real car bed) I am a introvert, is it possible to stealth and be a person who snores 😢

What does she do for money?
She travels as economically as possible, but does support her adventure addiction with CZcams videos, Patreon supporters, and merchandise sales (t-shirts, etc.). Thanks for the feedback.
