Uni ball One P Review - Short, Wide Gel Pen

- This is a quick review of the Uni-ball One P, a short, wide version of the Uni-ball One ( amzn.to/3CcL9uw ) art pens. The Uni-ball One pens look great and have nice coloring to their ink, but have been inconsistent in their writing and have received a lot of complaints about them over the last few years. I don't tend to recommend them, but was excited to see the new body design come out as it was a novel approach for a mainstream gel pen.

Its like the chibi version of the stardard uni one. I think the shape and variety of nice colors make it a fun pick
I've had this pen for a couple of months and imo it's the most comfortable pen I've ever written on. I like it much more than many other pens I have. The other Uniballs aren't as good but this one definitely seems to flow well, write well and is very comfortable. I just wish it came in matte black.
Ironically enough I just ordered one of these to play with, in the same color no less. Usually I prefer narrower pens, but I tend to like Uniball’s refills. Great video, thanks!
0.38 inks/ refills are known for their scratchiness due to the needle tip so that is something to definitely note
I like my Uni ball One pens. The only problem I have is that the black ink sometimes is hard starting. Once it starts it is fine.

Hi. Will the refill of this fit into any other pen?
One issue that i have with the pigmented style of gel pen is that it skips a lot.
I actually much prefer the dye based Sarasa R.
Yea they are inconsistent much of the time.
same issue when I first got my uni one's but then I colored with them (didn't have my colored pencils) and after that they are wetter (no bleedthrough) and no skips. So I dunno what's up with that 🤷♂️
I love them they fit sarasa refills!
I have no idea why this happened to mine but a small wire started protruding out of the tip, which was not there originally.

I bought the uni- ball one last month. Wish they were skip free. What are your fav skip free, and water resistant gel pens?
Zebra Sarasa has pigmented ink, so that usually does the trick for me.
you can put the Jetstream refill in the uniball one - problem solved
Why, oh, why didn't you compare it with the Uni Ball One? I have its taller and slimmer sibling, and it would be great to see how it compares!

With this body accept any Zebra Sarasa, Pentel Energel, Uni Signo, or other refills? I rather like how this one is a departure from other Uni ONEs in that it does not have the rubberized grip section.

Just wanted to let you know the title says Uni ball one F instead of P
The one Uni Ball one pen I have used kinda sucks. I have some others in different colors and sizes I haven't cracked the seal of yet, but in no rush after my experience. Had a great experience with a 207+ recently, in contrast.

only hard start I had with one one refills was with a nib that hit a wooden floor, otherwise all refills flown very evenly

Looks like a cross between Tombow AirPress and Kaweco Sport ballpoint.
Right? I actually like the Airpress a lot but the refills are quite bad
