I like this guy. No nonsense guy inside out! Like one of your old uncles always talking sense. No tattoos, no stupid hairstyles, no oompa loompa bullshit. I wish I was half as cool as him
People mistake him as being intimidating in real life, which he's not, and so the sad part is, like in here, he can understand when someone's scared and that's when he stops trying. He is in reality a very funny, chill and genuinely good guy.
As much high praise as this movie has deservedly got --it is easily my favorite film of the year-- Shannon has gotten strangely overlooked. He should've been nominated for an Oscar for performance. He was so much fun to despise in this movie & he was wickedly funny too.
His look at the camera at 0:27 is gold comedic timing. Good interview!

Really great questions for Michael. I think these probing and poignant questions would intimidate some actors, but Michael I think is more intimidated by answering the superficial questions that get asked most often.

Shannon plays a great heavy. He's just effortlessly offensive.
The interviewer is asking lots of naive questions. Michael is so kind and intelligent. He is saving her and doing that in the best possible way. As a result, I learned lots of interesting things.
I sometimes feel like I want to see him play General Zod again, but now seeing that Marvel makes so many of their characters come back to life, I feel like some characters should remain dead, so that the impact of their death remains with us.

This guy intimidates me a lot. Usually the actors who play the bad guys are really charming people. This guy feels kinda evil.
MrEmafon4 I noticed that when I saw the movie, to be honest. He has a real gravity about him. Also the fact that his character is very knowledgeable. He seems to know a bit about every subject, like the creature's anatomy. And he's good at piecing things together.
I think he actually seems like a pretty chill, funny dude in all the interviews and things I see with him. Seems pretty playful.
He's actually super relaxed all the time. He just has a mean face . Living grumpy cat in human form .
