Based off the graphical capabilities, references to the computer keyboard, and the fact this game is set in 1983, I can confirm this is a game for MS-DOS, using an EGA card (VGA was introduced in 1987) with software trickery to display more than 16 colors
The game should have used digitised speech, or low quality wav files, to get across the 'old game' feel much more

I looked over the game and a few glitches occurred specifically when interacting with the characters in terms of the audio and images not unfolding properly in the game. It seems that you have two games put together, one the Andy's apple Orchard overlayd with a horror game that you play as the culprit. I would suggest that you delete both of the games and you restart on Andy's apple Orchard entirely to avoid any further malfunctioning when trying to work on two games on the same file.
