Love it. Had a PRX 80 40mm but it had this weird overhang. No issues with the 40mm and the blue is beautiful

Christopher Ward has been top of my list for my next purchase for a while. So tough to pick what one though, I vibe with so many of their models.

Great review sir👏. I have the glacier blue. It is a great timepiece. The designer of the Twelve also designed the Czapek Antartique. Looks very similar but the price points are miles apart. To be fair the Czapek movement is miles apart from the Selita, but the Twelve looks way more expensive than it's price point. I walked into a watch and jewelry store recently (who it turns out are a Czapek retailer) and the assistant saw my Twelve and said .."Wow - is that a Czapek?".
I'm not into the integrated bracelet style, but that does look very precisely made. CW makes some nice watches. I have the C65 Dune GMT and it's also very well built and finished.

"Cheap Watch Man"... this watch I would call "affordable" but not "cheap". That dial looks darker in your video than on the website, and I really like it. Nice.
I have to agree with everything you said. Uncannily so…. What maybe you didn’t mention is how great it looks on the wrist. It’s more shiny, blingy than what i usually like but damn, this watch is bangin. It’s one watch I keep glancing at.. in fact, i wear it so much more now than my over my Tudor BB58.
I have had on order the CW Bel Canto since February for a late December delivery.. if I like as much as this.. its a keeper.

this watch is a treat , everyday, and the dial in small shadow even in the day is crazy with lume glowing a bit, you will see...

Just in case you buy another Christopher Ward watch - the wood of the box is Bamboo which is ultra sustainable and the logo is the England & Swiss flags the British Flag is something quite different. Great vlog and great watch 👍👍👍

It’s great that CW has made the effort to distinguish its watches as an English/Swiss collaboration, rather than British/Swiss, which is completely unpalatable to most English people since the nationalists in the other home nations started doubling down on h@ting the English.

I own one , Ice blue with a rubber strap and I love it ! Personally I find the box a little over the top. My timegrapher shows +2-+7 secs per day dependent of position which is totally acceptable to me.
Got the grey dial the Finishing is amazing I have the Tudor royal retails at over 2ooo and this is easily as good for half the price and you get a 5 years movement warranty
Just make sure to pay in GBP and not USD once you add a US address it removed VAT and drops the price, Paypal does charge 4% conversion so using a card is cheaper then paypal but even with the 4% its a lot cheaper then the USD price

I love this watch , but would have been nicer if they used the Sellita 300 in the steel watches. The 300 is Sellita version of the ETA 2892 which is probably the best movement ETA made. It’s slimmer and generally more reliable .

Is the dial tiny CW logos? The butterfly clasp is a non-starter, but otherwise the rest of the design is gorgeous.
it's gorgeous, for sure. The real question is is it worth the hundreds more than a PRX costs (the date placement's definitely better on this). And you can only get the amazing blue gradient dial on the version costing 2 grand (on bracelet)! I'm holding out for the PRX 35mm in ice blue.

OK, no half links, so you have to be lucky to get it right. It's a SW200 watch for 1200 dollar that doesn't fit. Wow...can't wait to get one.
A CW watch I really like, I’ve always liked CW and owed a C60 which was great but too large at 43 mm . I prefer to the Tissot and with a 5 year warranty which is same as the big boys and cost the company. Obviously it’s a Genta inspired but does it very well. You really question why you need to pay more. Perhaps if it had a Sellita 300 ( eta 2892 ) it would be perfect. Unless you want a diver this watch perfect for every thing else. I would add that as long as you don’t WEAR the watch you can return for a full refund, and I have done this several times with no issues .
The titanium version has the Sellita 300 movement.

Christopher Ward punches way higher than their price point. They make some of the best built watches available today. I own the C65 Dune in the marine blue and will be purchasing the C63 Sealander in Hunter Green in the near future. Not a fan of integrated bracelets so "The 12", although a very nice looking piece, is not for me.
I'm with you on not liking integrated bracelets and the overall styling is just not my thing either, but it does look nice and has excellent finishing. I'm sure it's well worth the money for those that do like this "PRX" style of watch.
Does the bracelet have any adjusts? Or is it just going to look awesome in a drawer?
That's the problem with butterfly clasp bracelets, no adjustments other than adding or removing a link.
The logo is combo of the Swiss and English flag just FYI, not the British one.

Yema Watches just released their iteration of thia watch and it's pretty nice. Check Yema out of you're not familiar. Very quality stuff for the prices. Theirs has a honeycomb style dial and I think it's a bit classier than this CW. I own the Tissot and prefer it to this as well. It looks incredibly sharp in person on wrist. But definitely check Yema out of you've not heard of them yet. French company I think.
For me this one is worth the extra over the tissot, nivada grenchen and yemas offerings.
This watch does absolutely nothing for me. That's the beauty of watch collecting. Everyone has different tastes.
CW is the best value for money is the industry. Thank the watch gods the logo controversy is finally over.

the sellita sw300-1 in this one is 4/6, not 20. the sellita sw200-1 used in some of his other watches like the c60 is +/- 20 though. lower power reserve on the 200 to at 38 compared to 56 for the 300 too.
edit: just realized i was looking at the titanium one, it uses the 300 the steel version he has there is the 200 that is 20 sec.

“Impulse Buy” is correct! You could have gotten the PRX Powermatic 80 for $600 something, instead of the watch that is copying off the Powermatic for a $1000 something +++
PRX feels cheap on wrist and wears bigger
i dont see how this is a "clone" of the prx when the prx has that enormous looking case compared to this one. maybe its just the larger bezel on this one that shrinks the rest of the case & lug area down a bit but the prx just looks a little goofy to me. similar'ish, but i wouldnt say clone by any means. i prefer this version personally though the prx isnt bad looking. id still rather a gp laureato but not for 8x the cost of this one. luckily theres plenty of options at all sorts of price points for the style.
Chinese box made by an 8yr old doesn't cost a whole lot.
