I cried watching this bc this is the first time I’ve felt represented in a musical as an enby lesbian. Though Fun Home comes close. “Ring of Keys” gives me all kinds of feelings.
The lyrics, the singing, the choreography, the sets, the lighting, the costumes, UGH. Everyone really put their everything into this and I love it so much
my only complaint ...it's a musical but you can't really sing along with the songs. I know that might be dumb but oh man it does get me.
My only complaint is this show should have been set in present day, I think it would have done better.

I love the four main characters but this scene made me fall in love with Lydia. The part where she’s on the bench and then the heavy breathing when Cynthia comes close to her. Phenomenal voice, dancing, acting, chemistry.
💯 i wish we could have a season 2 to develop more of Lydia's character and get more songs from her!
Did this song make me cry? Yes, yes it did.
But I love the dual meaning of this song: The initial spark of developing feelings for someone for the first time, but also having to hide those feelings because people in the LGBTQ+ community had to hide their true selves out of fear 💔.
Also, to add to that, how many people use theatre as an exploration of self, especially those who can't find that space in the real world to explore their gender/sexuality

I will literally never stop being upset and frustrated about this show being cancelled and removed from the platform. One of the best sapphic love stories I’ve ever seen in one of the best shows, and it’s just… gone now. It’s so rare to get a show like this and even rarer to get a character like Cynthia: a gender non-conforming lesbian (played by a non-binary actor!!) whose story doesn’t end with her changing anything about herself, and whose story isn’t just about how she’s different from other girls (except that it is, a little bit, but that’s the point of the Pink Ladies. You get what I mean). That’s not what her story revolves around, it’s just part of it. And paramount is getting rid of the show for absolutely no reason. The show deserves more, the people who were part of making it deserve more, and sapphic people deserve more. It’s not fair to any of us. And I will never get over the fact that they’re taking this show away from us. And during pride month too
i felt mostly despair at first, i felt the same way about cynthia and was really depressed about the cancellation, but i honestly think we can save this show. i've seen fans campaign super hard for shows before but i've never seen this kind of dedication and organization from a cast before. i have faith this isn't the end. we saved warrior nun, we can save our pink ladies!

I thought that was really touching for another reason, because it showed how well each one understood the other and picked the person the other would most want to be compared to. The famous actress and the actor famous for playing rebels/bad boys. The references were spot on for 1954, even though the musical numbers take place outside of time and space.
This needs to ve released as a single. All the music in the show is brilliant but this is a no 1 single and video for sure 🎉
