Ikr! Descendants is great but the rest of the songs were more upbeat than this and looking into a more jokey side of telling a story whereas this one was so much more mature. But it fits Mal’s character arc so well. Starting as a goofy and more selfish character and starting to learn about love and being afraid to lose it.
I love how in the background you can hear ben harmonizing!! This scene is so fun, hes singing in the background while drowning' XD.
