I just noticed that you grabbed the one in gelmir instead and in case you didn’t know about it, it’ll save you about 5 minute of running :)
Also when it comes to Elemer, the shield slam with an explosion is triggered when he queues up the attack while your in front of him, if you're behind him he'll just do the slam regularly without an explosion.

(Also I find very sweet that Godfrey knows that this corpse is the one of his baby boy and hugs him even though he's never seen him as something that wasn't an omen, but he just -knows- ) EDIT: no lore reason that I know of atm, but probably miyazaki saw the charred feet and stopped working because he was too busy crying, so the developers removed them completely so they could keep making the game 🤔

Some corrections. You can't put bloodflame blade on blood and occult affinities. Also Rogier's set doesn't buff magic ashes of war, it buffs magic damage from ashes of war. This seems like a minor difference, but it means that it will not buff spinning weapon on a weapon that deals physical damage (like a non-magic grave scythe)

Eochaids dancing blade is the single most busted ash of war in the whole game. You can one shot NG7 bosses with it. Absolutely insane damage potential lol

A thing about the different categories of buffs thing, there are three categories of buffs however only the first two (body buff and aura buff) are exclusive. The third category ("unique" buffs) you can have as many of as you want. Also, Golden Vow and FGMS are not the same category. Golden Vow is an Aura Buff and FGMS is a Body Buff so you can stack them both to great effect. But using both Golden Vow and FGMS would use up both your aura and body buff slots so to speak so you'd be left with only unique buffs from then on. According to Fextralife, anyway.

Somebody else has probably straightened it out, but just in case. There are aura buffs, body buffs, weapon buffs, and unique buffs. You cannot stack buffs of the same category (other than unique) but they all stack with each other. I am assuming the wiki was just wrong because golden vow is an aura buff (like commanders standard) and flame grant me strength is a body buff. I believe jelly fish shield is a unique buff but I'm unsure, I never use it. tears and talismans are all unique though, same as terra magica. Something that's bugged me a little bit is war cry, barbaric roar ect. they are all body buffs, so you can't eat crab or use flame grant me strength while using them, the buff just overrides it.

Great video as usual! Knew it was going to be busted as soon as I heard the challenge, Spinning Weapon is just silly strong PvE! The reason the shackle takes a moment is because it actually triggers the ending fire spray pillar which then causes another chariot to spawn and crash into the existing ones.

Not really a challenge run per say, but I really wanna make a battlemage that uses the moonlight greatsword + ranged sorceries for things a bit too far for sword beam spam. Guess you didn’t give your mental prowess enough credit!
33:29 yeah Ordovis' Vortex scales with both strenght and faith, but the vast majority of its damage comes from strenght. You would've had an easier time going all in on strenght Also flame grant me strenght is a body buff, same as howl of shabriri, which is why it stacks with golden vow or commander standard :)

@@CatTechSupport I haven't deeply tested it but in theory should there be an enemy (and I make an exception to allowing the ability to lock on) my character would rotate to face the enemy. Tedious but that fixes facing different directions, then moving forward and back would be handled the same as with the no walking video. The problem is there are several points in the game, including at the literal beginning, where there are no enemies to lock on to change the direction, and in the case of the starting room, you're required to pick up the item off to the right. Without a way to turn or directly walk over to it, the run is dead in the water There may or may not be a way to turn your character (items, hitting walls repeatedly) but I haven't looked into it
i recognize the fact that this video is 5 months old by now, but could you in theory mainhand the jellyfish shield to get its buff and offhand ordovis' sword for the shield buff on the sword AoW?
That scepter was in my notes, but i requires a staggering 60 int, and the Ash of War is just spinning weapon so I decided not to get it, maybe should have mentioned that though lol

Probably a weird thing to comment on this run of all runs, but somehow it inspired me to give another crack at elden ring. Not really a challenge run per say, but I really wanna make a battlemage that uses the moonlight greatsword + ranged sorceries for things a bit too far for sword beam spam.

33:29 yeah Ordovis' Vortex scales with both strenght and faith, but the vast majority of its damage comes from strenght. You would've had an easier time going all in on strenght
Also flame grant me strenght is a body buff, same as howl of shabriri, which is why it stacks with golden vow or commander standard :)

Weapon: Maria’s executioner sword
Talismans: Godfrey icon, Warrior or Alexander jar shard, rotten wing insignia and milicents prosthesis
What stats you need:
Vigor: 60
Mind: 14
Endurance: 24-30
Strength: 54
Dexterity: 6
Intelligence: 16-25
Faith: 20-30 for incantations
Arcane: 40-50
You should do a run with this build if you could🙂🫵

Eochaid’s dancing blade is no joke, the marais executioner sword carried me thru mohg, Elden beast, and malenia. Plus it’s poise got buffed in 1.10 >:3

@@CatTechSupport I haven't deeply tested it but in theory should there be an enemy (and I make an exception to allowing the ability to lock on) my character would rotate to face the enemy. Tedious but that fixes facing different directions, then moving forward and back would be handled the same as with the no walking video.
The problem is there are several points in the game, including at the literal beginning, where there are no enemies to lock on to change the direction, and in the case of the starting room, you're required to pick up the item off to the right. Without a way to turn or directly walk over to it, the run is dead in the water
There may or may not be a way to turn your character (items, hitting walls repeatedly) but I haven't looked into it
