If you were still wondering about the destined death not killing you in the Maliketh fight im fairly certain it’s because of the invincibility/invulnerability you can get when you get knocked flat on your ass depending on the boss and attack. That means the Destined Death DoT won’t start sapping your health until you get back up. Usually people will spam dodge to get up faster and so you don’t get as many I-frames from you being on the ground. The same thing can happen with Godskin Noble using Noble’s Presence and you can completely negate the Black Flame DoT by staying on the ground for the full duration. Sorry for the paragraph, amazing video!!
I didn't realize dots didn't affect you while you had s, mostly because I'm pretty sure i've died to one in a roll before. maybe that is intentional though, if the hit that gave them to you knocks you down it doesn't start until you regain control so you have a chance to heal? idk haha, thanks though :)
This was nice. I kind of excepted a dual Great Stars build since you can get 2 without NG+ and since they both have innate bleed, restore HP on hit and can be given any Ash of War. Though, in the end, you can't really go wrong with Katanas.

Another great run. I'm surprised you went strength for Mohg. I figured you would have gotten the curved sword on Mt. Gelmir (who's name I forgot) that has passive bleed on it, maybe the other curved sword that's like a 2% drop rate from some Skelly's over by the Church of Pilgrimage, grabbed seppuku, and just annihilate Mohg with Bleed.
Awesome creativity using Prayerful Strike to finish Mohg. I feel most people would have gone for an INT build and used Comet Azur, I like that you thought outside of the box!
I did this run myself a couple months ago, a ton of fun. All remembrance makes it tough with mohg, so I just abused the shit out of frost and bleed to burst him down after using shackle right before phase 2. Kinda want to do it again with a new build lmao, feel like it could be better optimized.

Man, you're skill is pretty impressive when you aren't gimped by goofy challenges. Even no healing, letting yourself just do regular melee attacks is just unfair to the bosses.
A fun one would be beating the game without resting at sites of grace only problem is the fact that there are parts where you are literally locked unless you do if I recall I for one, would be willing to overlook the technicalities.
yes there are, I've thought about it, and also thought 'what if I just wrong warp past those parts" but it also slightly takes the fun out of it by not doing all bosses haha, if i do do it I would probably just say those ones are mandatory and be done with it
@Doom Wolf True. I was only suggesting it be the routing is interesting. Puts Rykard as one of the first bosses of the run. If you wanted ri you could've used it as an excuse to gun for Regal Spirit as fast as possible. Then it means the two demi gods you fight are Radhan and Rykard. I only bring this up because the routing might have been refreshing. The run was really enjoyable and I love your videos.
Can you do an NPC weapons only run this would include invaders and human like boss weapons such as Gideon’s hammer or Vikes spear and to add some spice use a different one for every boss

Poor regal ancestor spirit, always bullied by end game builds. They clearly want you to fight him early-mid game, but if you do you have to deal with another healing boss that drags the fight longer than needed. Kind of a shame too, he does have some cool mechanics but they are not developed properly, like when he disappears (assuming he doesn't fall through the map, which happens more often than it should) the animal he emerges from decides which special move he gets, which is cool but more often than not he emerges so far away you can't see which animal it was. And i don't think i need to say that bosses that heal are just annoying, especially when there's little you can do about it.
I've fought him early to mid game before, still completely underwhelming lol you don't need to see what animal he explodes from, he gets a special attack based on which one, and they all have a very long wind up so you have plenty of time to prepare for what it is haha

I actually meant to say that it's a cool mechanic that you basically never notice unless you read the wiki, especially cause like you said the attacks are telegraphed by both a long animation and the respective animal's cry. I would have given the boss slightly different forms based on each animal and made it fight differently with each one, maybe that would have made it a more interesting fight.
