- Wrong place to stand at Leicester this morning! Never the reward you want for an early start but that's the chance you take - An empty class 170 stock move couldn't have been timed any better!
Regardless, great to see Wizzo D1015 'Western Champion' out without a rear tail gunner headed to Westbury for today's tour.
See also the mix of locos sat having a weekend off on depot at UKRL Leicester LIP also.
Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching.

what a delight to see a bunch of classic diesel locos without seeing any of those bland class 66s amongst them great video
Great video, some good captures of LIP.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Great video as always 👍
I was born in 1950 ( in the steam age) so, see little attraction in the modern stuff, but all due respect to those that show an interest. How about badgering the BBC for another Railway Roundabout programme??
Another cracking video well done great camera work as usual I am really enjoying your lovely videos and camera work keep your lovely camera work up I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on CZcams bye for now Philip
I'd love to have a walk around there
Well I saw it at Westbury and when it arrived there was no head board only a reef I can also tell you that at Westbury GBRF Class 66309 Charley Wallace took up the rear when it departed for Cranmore. At Leicester you were on the right platform tho however as I checked realtime train website from Saturday 6th July 2024 it was a Cross Country 170107 Leicester - Humberstone, Humberstone - Leicester that cut the rail charter up. I've look The British Rail livery Class D6836 which you filmed and the numbers are Class 37136, Class 37905 according to the Class 37 website.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Superb video. 3 class 69s. An ex Dr's 37 now with europheonix, is that rail operations group & some 222 meridians at Leicester. Thank you.
Thanks Tom 🙏👍
D6836 Looks a bit sad. Is it in store or is it very much stil operational?
Very nice video, looks like all the 37s are ready for use with europhenix now, do you know if they will have couplings like 884 and 800 or if they will be used more often?
Not sure myself - Someone may be able to answer for you.. 👍
8:10The track doesn't line up with the shed doors. Has someone miscalculated a bit? 🤔
the shed is new. they need to relay the track into it!
At 7:08 you can see me 😭
Was that 37608 in LIP?
Yes - Tucked away down the far side.. 👍
@@trainsplanes Okay thanks! Thought it was 218!
