Sup bro
Make glitch techs video pls we want more of it
Hey.
I miss that era of Cartoon Network
Remember how at the end of ‘Crossover Nexus’ from OK KO where CN city was restored? What if CN decided to use this and bring back the CN city branding? This time with both modern and old characters interacting with each other.
YES YES PLEASE I WISH THEY WOULD BRING BACK CN CITY
That'd be awesome ,but they would probably fuck it up
I would love this but the only characters that would live in that city now is Teen titans go and Gumball, sadly
this would never happen because cn never acknowledges anything ok ko does or has done. its dusgusting but its the truth, they killed the show by refusing to advertise it more or even sell merch
@@ibikun5493 Craig Of The Creek seems to be doing fairly well then there's Mao Mao Legends Of Pure Heart, Victor & Valentino.
I remember when CN aired live action shows. Biggest mistake of their lives.
Annoying orange show :o!1
I remember when CN used to be good.
I never understood the live action
Yeah, I avoided those like the plague. (except inside jimmy's head. For some reason I was drawn to that series)
@@Geznoo was that the cartoon show of the main character got hit by a train and survive but now he is seeing cartoon characters and he has a alien sister yeah the entire show that was acid drugs.
They had variety back in the day
Damned TTG
Yeah.
It's stuff like this that make you wish you could just relive the best moments of your childhood.
Still more variety than Nick.
That is very true. OK KO and Thundercats Roar two more unfunny poorly drawn super hero parodies.
Cartoon Network had CN INVADED and Crossover Nexus.
Disney had That’s so Suite Life of Hannah Montana.
Nickelodeon had Jimmy Timmy Power Hours and the mini Fairly Odd Phantom episode.
They knew how to get their viewers interested. And I’m a giant fan of crossovers.
Speaking of CN City I had a theory back on O.K K.O's crossover with Ben 10, Teen Titans Go, and Steven Universe that the place they were in wasn't just a random dimension, but the actually CN City
It was bro
I mean it was fairly obvious
How did you not get that it was CN City? It’s like glorifying obvious.
The Kraft tie in finally explains the weird cheese obsession of these episodes. That always bugged me.
1998-2007: Cartoon Network creative with Powerhouse, CN City, CCF, and CN Invaded
2014-present: Cartoon Network no longer creates content where characters from different shows interact with each other and they focus on modern shows to their modern audiences rather than acknowledging the past for their older fans.
Ok ko did a crossover
Ok, im just saying, why the fuck should this kids network have to appeal to a bunch of grown adults. They have no reason to "acknowledge the past for their older fans". CN City is a marketing tactic, albeit a good and fun one, Its something for kids. They should bring back CN city, But not "for the older fans", they should do it because i think kids today will like it.
@@Pan-lv7vv Thank you!
@@Pan-lv7vv someone finally said it
@@Pan-lv7vv i think they aught to just bring back some of the older toons for maybe sunday nights, throwback sundays or whateve....or when they dont know what the fuck to put on, put on some older toons instead of choosing one single cartoon to play for almost an entire fucking day.
I missed CN city too 😢
Every commercial just displayed every show I loved about Cartoon network!
I know this may sound crazy but imagine how crazy and better things would be if streaming services starting doing something like CN City and Invaded with their cartoons.
I don't think streming services *own* the cartoons and shows that they air like cartoon network
ez yawn I guess your right but just imagine all the amazing crossovers and stories that could happen if companies like Hulu or Netflix starting combining their original shows together. Even if they did it just for commercial or promos it would be way more interesting and incredible.
I hope they added the temple and maybe little homeworld to CN city
personally, I'd go for Benson, Marceline, and Greg Universe doing a jam session together.
Have Coop, Peridot and Mordecai doing a Videogame Co-Op Robot Fight against Finn, Ben Tennyson and Cyborg.
Maybe even have something simple like Steven Universe with Numbuh 3 in the park playing with Rainbow Monkeys, or have Pearl and Muscle Man helping Grandpa Max give the Rustbucket a tune-up.
For stills, I'd put in lingering shots of Stevens' Gamecube and videogames as Pearl is reflected walking past the screen, an interior shot of Stevens' fridge as Amethyst opens the door to pull something out, several bubbled gems in The Burning Room as a new one is sent inside, a panning shot of the pink clouds of Rose's Room with a hint to her motif in the music.
Also gar’s bodega, and Elmore junior high
Don’t forget Finn and Jake’s treehouse
@@0hvist The vibes, oh the vibes..
I remember seeing the ads for Invaded and closely following this on the Cartoon Network website. I was convinced that it was real and that aliens were actually invading Cartoon Network studios
WAIT IS THIS THE ALIEN CARTOON NETWORK CROSSOVER IF SO THANK YOU SO MUCH
Yes
Hey does anyone remember that time Lilo & Stitch made a series of episodes that crossed over with other shows like Kim Possible, American Dragon, Proud Family, and Recess. I think that may have been the closest that Disney Channel came to doing an event similar to Invaded.
Yes, Cartoon Network was way better when I was a kid in particular. This CN city special was freaking epic.
WeegeeSlayer Yeah I don’t know what that shoehorned “joke” in the beginning was about or why they used a clip from Harley Quinn (a show not even on CN and one that’s decidedly NOT for kids) but they basically validated that claim by showing that yes, CN put in a lot more effort back in the early days.
@@ryancarson6962 I think because that episode was making fun of the critics of the Harley Quinn show and how they're just old basement dwellers living in the past and criticizing new shows with different format.
lol Vox dropping them F-bombs like it ain't no thing. Now *THAT'S* passion.
I definitely would've loved another thing like Invaded
Honestly, even though CN is starting to suck now, I think they should do Cartoon Network Invaded again. Like "Cartoon Network Invasion, the return", and they hint at it by making the characters act differently or strangely until the Invaded stuff comes back.
I remember that. Also, today's my birthday
Happy birthday!
@@RoundtableVids Thanks guys! Liking my comment is the best gift I've got so far
@@khalidhenry3857 ....really? awww...
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!🎁🎉
I'm waiting for this show to end up on HBO Max
Maybe it was those 3 aliens that had something to do with the state we see CN city in crossover nexus.
Is this lore I see here? 🤔
What if they made Strike?
This means that CN City would've had a pretty dark ending, atleast up until crossover nexus
Dude!!!! You may have a pretty good point there!! The aliens from invaded were probably the ones responsible for destroying CN city by creating the villain from the Nexus crossover! But after the nexus crossover, everything finally got better thanks to KO by using the power of the classic CN cartoons, and getting the city revived along with all the classic CN characters.
"No, don't give me hope"
Imagine if they made a Show called Ed, Edd n Dendy.
hopefully the OK KO Spinoff/Sequel Series KO'S Adult Chronicles will be made, too! They're thinking about re-airing OK KO in June which is this year. didn't say when or what day they'll do it, but we'll soon find out for sure. Most of us fans really want KO back, as an adult that is! and when he reunites with Dendy who will also be an adult then hopefully the series will premiere with them getting married. I would like something like that to see, would you?
How about a spinoff called "Dexter's And Johnny's Labatory"
I'm sorry if I've forgotten and I'm stupid but who's Johnny?
@Cyanide You have not heard of Johnny Bravo?
@Cyanide You have not heard of Johnny Bravo?
First time in 13 years, Cartoon Network Invaded again. It first happened in May 2007.
I see that, so far, 35% of the people that took the poll "Do you remember Invaded?" said it was before their time. I hate bashing younger people in general because it's no one's fault what age they are, but CN City was genuinely LEAGUES above what Cartoon Network has become. The variety of the shows, the aesthetics, the vibe. It was truly legendary. Almost too good. There's no way to describe how good it felt coming home from a long day of highs and lows in elementary school to a panning shot of Titan's Tower. Or a shot of Tom and Jerry's house as they run in and out of frame, as if we're just popping in and seeing what they're up to. And the fact that the bumpers would change to match the time of day. Just beautiful.
couldn't of said it better myself mate, spot on. Seeing Jack, walking past Dexter & greeting Johnny Bravo, while the power puff girls flew in the background. Legendary
Cartoon network invaded 100% felt like a comicbook summer crossover event
If that's the case it's a pretty way to ending the CN city era .
This was around the time I started high school, the most stressful time during my adolescence. Thanks for reminding me that this was the end of my childhood 😭 miss this era of CN
All of these invaded things are making me hungry
I preferred your comment when it was just ‘E’
What?
CN City is worthy of the iconic title, it was one of a kind. The best city in the universe
Memories drift in and out of my mind and the little people get left behind
So whateeeeeeeveeeeeeeeer
Jason Ramirez good old magic man
I wonder what adventures he’s up too, I hope he makes a cameo in the 4 hbo max specials, though he probably won’t and iam not able to watch them anyways
8:18 has me in tears😂
Oh my god I remember that event! I remember getting really excited for the alien invasion specials! I had nightmares of the aliens from Billy and Mandy.
I would be happy if they just brought back the old bumpers, not cn city, but you know, it would tell you what's up next, and what not. "/
"This is Cartoon Network."
Iconic. I'm pretty sure the narrator of those bumpers was just a regular girl too.

What a time to be alive...
I remember being scared of the commercial as a kid and having trouble sleeping as I thought aliens were gonna get me
I remember this. I'm pretty sure they started building up to this event with these live action interview segments talking about aliens. They were practically Blair Witch style trailers. Terrified me as a kid, had no idea what the heck it was supposed to be. I mean one of them had this man moving through this house at night, when he walks up to his kid who's staring out the window. The kid tells him "The aliens are back", and he looks out the window, only for the camera to cut to static and weird gargling noises. What the actual...?
I forgot how UGHLY alien were, the yellow one scared me the most.
Kevin:...the branding was undone by the root of all EVIL...
*A K U*
money!
That made me laugh!
1:30 Ben turning into heat blast upon seeing bikini Daphne 😂😂😂
Black cartoon reviewers really trying to bless me
I once thought *Invaded* was used to Promote *Fusion Fall*
Me too
Vox: "Dont worry, this isn't one of those collabs with a story or anything"
Me: "Why the heck not? Wouldn't it fit with the context of the thing they're collabing on if they were all connected in more than just the subject matter? Why wouldn't they want some kind of interconnected lore for this kind of--"
*ABDUCTION*
Me: "Oh okay nice"
I was 6 when this aired. I still remember the Fosters' and EE&E episodes scarring me so much I had nightmares for weeks about aliens afterward.
THAT is how you do a marketing campaign, lol.
I’m still creeped out by this till this day😂 and the promos always came on at night for me
Ok so while the Invaded did give us a last hurrah for the interactive feel of Cartoon Network, the show O.K K.O. does a fantastic job at running down memory lane. Paying tribute to shows like Dexter’s Lab, the CN City, Ghoul School, Scooby Doo, and freaking Nu Metal for some reason. Overall it’s a wholesome show with a decent story to follow.
Those bumpers with the aliens' silhouettes scared me so much as a kid that when I saw the commercial where they were revealed which I didn't expect that I hid behind me couch until the commercial was over. I still consider this my favorite TV event of all time (for the three main kid channels at least)
We didn't expect to get such a jump in tech. Who would've thought so many flash games would be lost. Holding on to some dump files for Scott Pilgrim since someone offered 'em up.
i cant wait for villainous
I'm hoping That Roundtable does a video on that series
I remember watching the CN City bumpers! They were awesome and so much fun to watch! Glad it got a finale with Invaded! I’ll miss you, childhood!
Time to start a youtube channel where I create theories about other youtube animation channels. The Lore based off dissecting lore
THANKYOU ROUNDTABLE 😍😍😍 I moved when I was younger and it was around this time and a lot happen and I never got around to it till watching this now you have spiked my brain! ❤️❤️❤️
Looking back after all this time I had no idea this was supposed to be the end of the City Era, but it makes sense being brought up here.
We want Cartoon Network City Back!
They should make a new Cartoon Network channel that airs classic CN shows, and includes CN city.
@@Negamare1 maybe boomerang
@@eevee_mon In Brazil, we had a TV Channel that airs old cartoons, called Tooncast, is from Turner too.
Oh yes. That especial scared me when i was a kid.
when i saw the little kid figure on the left in the thumbnail , i thought that was stevie from family guy and i immediately thought stewie was gonna get a rebooted show
Well that's stupid.
I always found those " invaded" promos to be scary as a kid, even the more light hearted ones.
"The Eds are Coming" is my favorite Ed Edd n Eddy episode. A great watch for October.
So they discontinued CN City that old timeliness of a masterpiece because of money
Yep Unfortunately
Congrats on 900K Subs!!
Roundtable you've unlocked some deep memories of my childhood. I remember Friday night with a can of sprite and a bowl of Mac n cheese watching invaded. On my birthday week. It was truly amazing
I was just thinking the other day that I wanted a retrospective of this whole crossover. The E,E,&E special is one of my favorite episodes, thank you for this.
I can’t believe this event was talked about again! Man was it great! I could never forget it. You know something’s good when 13 years later the memories are still there tightly held within your head.
Imagine that you can see the Cartoon Network city over the years and looking like a ghost town
YES!! What an awesome video!! Threw me ALL THE WAY back! Liked and favorited!
whenever i think about cn city and fridays, i get this warm rush of emotions. i remember being 8 or 9 and every friday my mom would take me to the gas station to get a big slushie with gummy worms in it and a big bag of nacho cheese doritos, and for the evening i'd just sit on the big comfy velvet couch we had in the living room and watch fridays on our tiny little set. or i'd go to the basement and watch it on my cousin's couch while i played around in the closets and the exercise equipment my parents left down there. i especially remember being SO excited for the invaded arc and gluing myself to the tv every week to watch it. i remember the premiere of class of 3000, calling in to try to win the reanimated cash sweepstakes, and watching the my gym partner's a monkey tv movie (the one where they're lost in the jungle, not the musical one) specifically. i see it all so vivid and real and i'm so glad cartoon network was able to give me that. for that reason, no matter what they do, they'll always be the network closest to my heart.
CN Invaded was one of the best things back in the day! Man I loved all the episodes they did!
I remember this event. After a week or two I started to miss the old city bumpers and couldn't wait for the channel to go back to normal. Never did though. Although as a kid I still liked the "Nood" era.
Man I thought I was one of the only ones who remembered Invaded, all my friends I asked dont remember this at all.
And yes, that theme song slaps, Been searching for it for a while again.
So CN is the reason why I associate aliens with cheese.
CN invaded gave me an irrational fear of extra terrestrials that still last to this day.
Damn this takes me back, such nostalgia and man I miss CN City
I had no idea Invaded was a close off sendoff in the City era :o
i remember that beginning part but the spooky alien marathon (GAoBaM, Fosters home, etc) i got a flashback that i didnt expect to get until my life flashed before my eyes in my final moments on this miserable rock
Showcasing how certain eras of a channel truly affect things. OK KO's 'Crossover Nexus' and then this video reintroduced me to CN City and other things I'd completely forgotten about before this video about anything mentioned.
I couldnt sleep for weeks after seeing these promos as a kid !
Mmmmhm thank you for digging deep into the darkest corners of my mind to bring back this event. I never got to personally watch all the episodes with its special intros and all that during the event but I do remember seeing the invaded thing whenever I watched code lyoko. And I remember playing a Billy and mandy game based on invaded if I recall it was a platformer where you used cheese to attack? It was odd. Fun. But odd.
Words can not described how much I love watching CN City when it existed, you really felt you were apart of Cartoon Network's world. It was the Golden Age. Invaded was a pretty cool immersion event, even though the episodes themselves left a lot to be desired.
I remember this happening!!
I missed CN city.
What the fuuck, I can't believe it was a Kraft tie-in. That makes so much sense. Great video!
I only remember 5 shows that were apart of this
There were 5 shows apart of this
The voice at the beginning made me think I was getting probed😔
This was my favorite thing when I was younger
Yo, I downloaded these episodes with the invaded bumpers a few years back and it was amazing seeing these bumpers after years
Congratulations on 900k subscribers
Wow lve never been this early. I seriously love your work
Funny enough, I watched the Ed Edd n Eddy invaded episode "which is my favorite episode of the whole series (minus the movie and the specials) I was thinking how cool it could've been if they did another thing like that again
This man making an editorial about my childhood right now
Great video!
I remember seeing trailers for this and never really seen the episodes. I always thought it was a dream and forgot about it until now.
The 2000s in general was the GOAT.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE CROSSOVERS!!!!
DUDE THAT FIRST CLIP JUST BROUGHT ME BACK!
Man, I miss cartoon network city... It was the best damn thing ever
My favorite Cartoon Network bumpers to this day is the CN City Christmas bumpers and the CN Holiday Rush.
I do find it odd that Ben wasn’t involved in this, but you’re right - it makes sense. If he could take on conquerors such as Vilgax, taking on the aliens that invaded the channel would be a breeze since they didn’t seem to show any extraordinary abilities.
Oh man i remember the invaded specials!!! As a kid, it honestly scared me when seeing those promos, i was terrified and worried that these aliens were kidnapping the most popular CN characters and trying to take over CartoonNetwork City! Even if it creeped me out, i really did not wanted to miss these new episodes to see how it all ends! Man CN back then was just awesome TTwTT
We’re being invaded!
I forgot how ugly the aliens were in this, but I totally remember watching all of these Invaded episodes it was amazing
I actually remember this happening in 07 and having another invasion 2 months later (around beginning of july)
