I was in the 494th at RAF Lakenheath in the late 80's. F-111F crew chief. I don't know if the tail number of my jet exists on the F-15E, but if I could get one with 0892 as a tail number, I'd be happy.
For modules already released, when you pull up the armaments page, you can change your aircraft number along with the livery. My viper is always 420 for obvious reasons. You should be able to have any number you want on the tail. Think of it as an automatic paint job.

I grew up 20 mins from Seymore Johnson. One time we had a hurrican coming in and two days before they launched every F-15E they had. I sat at the fence for two hours watching them go one by one. I miss those days :(
Lucky, I live an hour out and go there about once a month or so. Have been lucky to meet multiple fighter pilots and Im even going on a personal tour for my birthday where Im getting a flightline tour and up close to my favorite jet I hope to fly in the future this week.

What does the color strip on the tail indicate? There are some with a red, yellow, blue or none Do they have a specific meaning or are those just the individual squadrons?
For different squadrons mate, some strike eagles don’t have marked tails so best way to tell the sqn is to look on the left CFT by the intake their should be a sqn marking
I wish for the F-15DJ skin as a fictional one! It would give mission makers many more possibilities for campaigns and such! Especially because we have the Saipan Map.
@@RW-zn8vy not the same. And they share those assets with active duty. As far as I know there are no guard units attached to the E’s yet besides Klamath falls, but they are getting EX jets last I heard
definitely feels like a WIP with the engine nozzle moving sounds, but boy oh boy am I excited. sound's probably something that's fixed in the final stages of development

why does the sound stay the same as the camera changing angles? it should sound more dynamic how the tomcat and hornet do with it sounding more like air being blown than sucked from viewing it behind..🤦🏾♂️
Well real geography yes, and satellite images combined with handmade textures. Cities have some landmarks and added autogen general buildings so they do look like real places but not all buildings are the same. Down low DCS is much more detailed than MFS but not 100% IRL counterparts...
It's gonna release by March 10 or 17th...the reason I say that is due to ED review but from rumors I guess ED takes vacation this month, so everything will be put to next month, after finalizing things next month, it'll take time to set up a pre-order then ramp start video, then release. And if it was anything like the apache where it kept getting pushed back March would be the release month of aircraft to be released (in general) so March 10th or 17th it is. I say this as a neutral perspective, not a negative perspective.
Always loved the sound of the servos controlling the nozzles on the Eagle.
Especially when they are louder then the engines!

The skin is a little too dark. The SE is a lighter tone of grey. Especially in direct sunlight.
