When I was 12, back in 1988, I made my own version of Doc's shades by covering a cardboard frame with the silver film they put on windows. It looked perfect, and I could see through it. This was a good video, and I especially liked Piotr at the end, what an uncanny impression. :)

Great video! Back to the Future is my favorite movie as well! Halloween costume, here I come! :) Also, maybe do a continuation episode with "future" Marty in his other jacket with some self-lacing shoes. :) Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the video! I'm already planning for Halloween, and a friend and I both want to dress as Marty. He's going to be "Inconspicuous Marty" with the leather jacket, fedora, and almanac. I wanted to be Part III Marty, but the serape is going to be a really expensive piece to obtain, since I don't have the skills to hack that one. I love assembling/hacking costumes like is done here, so I think I'm going to switch gears and go as "life preserver" Marty. I already have jeans, a red shirt, and can borrow a denim jacket. I have ten months to find a plaid shirt, puffy vest, suspenders, and Nikes. Great suggestions for hacking Nikes: I saw your other video where you painted the swooshes on white shoes, so I'll look for a pair of plain white shoes I can tape/paint on. There are local thrift shops, and a summer flea market opening in a few months, so I'll look there.

how many coats of paint does it take to cover the fabric? i use the same brand of spray paint and I’m trying to paint my coat for the Poe Dameron cosplay and in these videos, it looks like it takes one can of paint?? but when I painted mine, it’s really blotchy after only one can

I painted a jacket once for a Green Lantern (Guy Gardner) costume and after wearing it around the con for a day I had a major problem with flaking. Have you experienced that? If so, how did you fix it?
