Salem, Oregon, the state's capital is well worth a visit! In addition to its white marble Capitol building which is brimming with history and features phenomenal architecture, Salem is home to a number of excellent museums, parks, and other must-visit attractions.
Situated along the banks of the Willamette River, this laidback college town is surrounded on all sides by enormous expanses of farmland and forest. The region is often touted for its fantastic vineyards and wineries as well.
One of Salem's biggest attractions is the wonderful Silver Falls State Park. If you're a lover of the great outdoors and are searching for the perfect place to go hiking, kayaking, or cycling, there is no better place in the greater Salem area for you to indulge in all of your favorite outdoor sports.

Silver falls state park! Lots of waterfalls close together in a small hike
Love that place. There’s also drift creek falls towards the coast, and then if you go south you will find one any direction lol
Be nice to know which are wheelchair friendly.
