What other cargo ebike should we consider looking into? Is there any that we have missed?

Thanks for reviewing. Approaching 600 miles on our Cargo Flyer (mainly school drop-offs) although the California rain has kept it in the garage more recently. Fair gripe regarding the brakes. I’d watch if you documented an upgrade on yours!
Looking forward to see your upgrade video. I found the ghost pedaling to be quite annoying when riding at high speeds.
I just bought this bike today, went looking at the velotrics packer 1, that they had in stock and when I got there they had this flyer and absolute perfect they threw in the kids seats and bars on the back.
I live in Galveston Texas it's very flat here it looks like it should be perfect to take my 3 and 5-year-old grandkids around.
Highly considering getting either this or the rad wagon 4. Definitely would love to see what your results would be changing out the front chain ring and the rear gearing to see if you can fix the problem of topping out around 15 miles an hour with human power. I absolutely love everything else about this radio flyer though!
I’m starting to like these cargo bikes. Great job on this one!
You and me both!
This has been an excellent review. The Flyer L885 is a very good looking cargo bike. The 500 watt motor is not a real problem although more power is always good. I live in Canada and ride a RW4 and all of our street legal bikes are limited to 500 watts nominal. I haven't noticed any lack of power except when climbing hills. I just go to a lower gear and a higher pedal assist.
Completely agree about the motor power. It has not been a huge issue for us, but want to point it out to people that might be wanting to make a decision based upon that fact. Thanks for the actual rider input!
Looking forward to the chainring upsizing review!
ended up chaning my chainring to a 56T... no more ghost pedaling... downside is the chain rubs the fender when using the largest sprocket on the cassette. I was still able to pedal up a 8% climb with the bike empty but not sure what it would feel like on that climb with a loaded bike. Maybe a 52T would've been better
There are many cool cargo ebikes, and I would really like for you to have an opportunity to show us. Maybe the longtails and the cargo compacts like remidemi
I'm trying to decide between the Flyer L885 and the Blix Packa Genie. Which one would you pick? This was a great review! Thanks.
The Blix Packa is nice. And the dual battery option makes it hard to beat. The Flyer is from a more well known brand and has better thought out accessories (in our opinion).
I picked the L885 because I like to modify my bikes and am a fan of the accessories. -JT
The freesky 750 sport review it for me please
I haven't heard of them. Looks like an Amazon bike. We'll probably stick more towards some of the well known brands or at least brands that we think will be around long term.
It only has a 500w motor for a cargo bike? Should be 750w minimum.
How long is the l885?
Total length is around 84"
Flyer l885 vs blix packa genie vs rad power wagon
Nice cargo ebike but underpowered if you're actually going to transport cargo or kids.
As someone who has been doing both on this bike, I can tell you it has not left me and my kids stranded yet. There are definitely higher-wattage cargo ebikes out there. But the L885 has a lot of other redeeming qualities that make it a great choice for some.
@@EbikeEscape I should say it's underpowered carrying cargo going up hills of any significant gradient.
This bike is a disappointment. Bad gearing, and mechanical disk brake, a weak motor, no torque sensor, expensive bike for the specs.
Any other recommendations? Looking to carry kid on bike too
