I don't think it's worth it to look at individual pieces anymore. For video / cinema, (and even stills really) you have to look at a new piece of equipment and ask what does it do with the rest of the system (and especially combined with what I own and maybe rent), to get a project done? A camera with a new level of slow-motion does not need ultra high sensitivity in low light to make it worth adding to your gear. It's nice if it does fill both roles, but, just adding the new level slow-motion is enough to make it worth adding to your gear.
Have you ever actually shot flagship MFT cameras for video before (GH6, GH7, etc)??? They're literally the most advanced video-focused mirrorless cameras available today... The footage is just beautiful
I have with a gh5. I will say it is an amazing camera and if you are using it for studio work or in a controlled environment its tough to beat. For my use case (weddings and run and gun) it was not the best. I love the flexibility of a full frame camera.
B is reasonable. The G9ii is an A tier camera, not perfect, but very good. The GH7 is B tier. It's not bad, but it's too little too late. This should've been the GH6. And the S9 is horrendous, in this tier list it would end up at C. So the average of B makes sense
i like watching this show but the hate on sony makes me really question if this dudes ever used a sony.... it feels like nikon or canon pay them to dis sony... and they talk about video... who uses nikon for video ???? they released their first true hybrid this year, and the z8 costs like too much, unless we all here are billionaires and i didn't know it, hahaha ... you need to hire someone that uses different cameras, panasonic gh7 is a true beast, use it and then dis it dudes, if you don't you are just lame, sorry but its true
