How to Make Your Bass Sound MASSIVE

If you've ever tried using fuzz or distortion with your bass, you'll know it's easy to make it sound like a housefly buzzing by a microphone. Here's what I'm doing to retain plenty of low end, while not compromising on that aggressive top end.

Alex I’m wondering if you would considering making an HX Stomp emulating an Upright Bass with a standard electric bass? I’m thinking in theory Double bass impulse responses could be used, I’m just not that good at building patches and Doing EQ like you are! That would be an awesome patch for Bluegrass or Jazz gigs where you can’t drag out an upright 🤔
