I love the concept, would like to see this turn into a series. Some of your struggles were just the market not being as strong as it used to be, also some of the card chooses. That Patrick Bailey card would have been better off if it was a numbered or autographed first bowman or a really low numbered mojo for it to get a premium once graded.
Really dig the experiment, would like to see more of this.

Good video. I like SGC they are consistent, fast, and have the best customer service. Some cards look great with the black border. I don’t like consignment with DCsports. Lots of eyes but they don’t put in the item details so I think that misses a lot of saved searches. That being said you weren’t necessarily sending them super rare cards that people necessarily would have saved searches for. Anyway, a profit is a profit 🎉

The moral of the story is that it is hard to make money buying and selling graded cards. I am a WhatNot addict and I am shocked how cheaply I can buy cards, PSA and SGC 10's for $4. I paid $24 for 10 SGC 9.5's of second year Ohtani's. Thanks for doing this another solid video.

not true. typically people (mostly young kids/teens) buying singles on Whatnot are OVERPAYING by 50-200%. a lot of these uniformed kids DO NOT price check on recent complete ebay/comc comps. I got banned on many channels cuz I warned buyers that they 'overpaid' and to 'check prices' before bidding. Have I ever come across sellers that end up selling a card below actual market price/recent comps? yes, but they end their auction very quickly after 5-7 cards cuz they're not making money, and change immediately to 'buy it now'.

The end results were atrocious after what you invested. I make far more profit selling on fb marketplace vs sgc. PSA is much better right now either. The only time that I'll look at SGC stuff is to assess it to crack and resub to PSA. Yes, maybe you could try to hold out for more on SGC slabs, but I think that the way that you sold them is very telling. I see a lot of SGC sellers who put them up for Buy It Now prices that are comparable to PSA, or they run auctions with high starting bids, and the stuff just sits there week after week with zero interest. Running auctions the way that you did shows the true value of grading with SGC, and it's really unimpressive.

Let’s break this down rationally. Look i understand ur influencer and need to make these type of videos. But I think the lesson learned here is no one should make flipping graded cards their full time job. You profited only $25 after how many hours? You probably made $.35 an hour. That’s pathetic. Lesson here folks: this is a hobby not a job. Go get a real job that pays $15/$20 an hour and make real money and be a productive member of society. Kids who are 10-16 years old watching ur cool sports card influencers on CZcams. Learn from this. This is a liquid market and you will lose money 99% of the time unless you have rich parents or sponsors like these guys who most likely don’t pay for their product. Do this for fun not profit
