- 56 YEAR OLD - Mark 'Miracle Man' Felix - is he the 'Most Gifted'' Strongman EVER?
Watch his 'Greatest FEATS of Strength' - The EARLY YEARS.
How did the Englishman get to this point; and what happened at the beginning of his career?
Felix began his career in strongman late - as a 38 year old - and within a year placed 10th in The World's Strongest Man competition in The Bahamas. His best placing would be 4th two years later in Sanya, China.
With 13 podium finishes (7 runners up & six 3rd places) in international Strongman competitions he has still to win a maiden title - but there's time yet!
Re-live his best moments from his early years (2006-2011) in strongman and the journey that led him to be known not only as the 'The King of GRIP', but also one the of the World's best DEADLIFTers.

Where would you rank Mark Felix amongst the Legends of Strongman?
he's a legend in the sport plain and simple. no reason to compare him to anyone else he is a legend in his own right.
Last
His grip and longevity are exceptional very likely the best in those aspects
@@joaodel95 you obviously don't no ur wsm
I'd rank him as an uncrowned champion
its absolutely staggering that this guy is still competing at the top, he may not have won the big shows but he has to be up there in the top legends of strongman. Who else would even think of being able to compete at WSM and look good in your mid 50's.
keep in mind in 2009 he was already called a Veteran of the sport !
Mark Felix is an inspiration for longevity and strengh ! What a legend !
Agreed!
Mark Felix the ageless wonder! Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed💪
If there was ever a show called "worlds strongest grip" mark would defiantly be the face of the company. Next level hand strength. Pure machine!
A great warrior who always gives 100percent. Mark is just a couple months older than me, maybe people don’t understand what it takes at our age to do what Mark does. Great inspiration.
I can only wonder how much more Mark would have achieved in strongman if he had started training and competing in his late teens or early twenties and was able to commit to the sport full time. The man is an absolute freak of nature.
Always wondered that myself...he's an exceptional competitor but I don't think today's style of competition suits his raw power.
The older competitions which were much more static strength based...well, he'd have walked it!
I think if Mark started strongman earlier he could have been incredible
I've watched wsm for the past 14 or so years, the respect and admiration I have for him is unreal..his grip strength is unsurpassed and he puts competitors half his age to shame..I got very upset watching his last ever strongman 2023 it certainly won't be the same without him..thank you mark Felix for the sheer joy you have brought me and many many other fans..your a legend ❤❤❤
I can't believe about 10 years later Eddie would come and deadlift 500kg, 95kg more. Eddie truly is a legendary man, I think sometimes we forget that.
The immortal mark felix a legend and a nice humble guy
Don't you just love the miracle man 👑👑
Mark Félix is the best. He is my man.
His an inspiration to me, id love to be that fit at his age!.
A wonder indeed, but inability to press overhead prevents him being the "most gifted".
If he could of got better at pressing he would of won some titles for sure
Absolutely loved this guy, nearly twice the age of most competitors but still showed them how it's done
Legend!
Felix is my all time favourite Strongman
Mine too one of the reasons I've tuned in all these years I love watching him compete ❤
Great inspiration for me-mark feelix
He is the legend!💪💪💪
An absolute ageless beast! At 49 I find him to be very inspirational.
I've always called him Mark "Hercules" Felix!
420 deadlift at 45 years old is goat stuff and holding the sand dollar dl record at 55, there is no one like mark felix
I wonder if he started in his late 20s early 30s how good he would of been.
Need mark on the podcast 💪
long live da humanity n da earth we livin
How this man is still going strong I don’t know. Gotta be the longest career in the sport after big z
Mark may be WSM 2023💪🔥
There is a reason why Angel's 😇 music starts to play every time he enters a room! Lol 😁
haha
@@GiantsLiveSTRONGMAN Hey Giants Live👋 I’m wondering if you have found my other account?
felix might have even made finals at WSM 2021 if he didn't have to face Tom Stoltman on the stones. legend
Super
Imagine he would have started in his 20s. Probaly Multiple time WSM winner.
If he would have started in his young 20s then he could have competed against jamie reeves, gary taylor, riku kiri...
He has never been that good at overhead events, I'm not sure starting earlier would have changed that enough. I think he'd have been roughly where Terry Hollands was at his peak.
Nope
The shoulder and triceps strength and also mistakes cost him
I think an in prime mark felix with the knowledge of diet an supps that we know now, he would be rite up their, also a very humble giant
Not even close. Brian, Tom, Matins, Thor, Mateusz, Eddy all would smoke him easily.
5:20 who is this tall bloke doing the post-event interview making the 6'6" Terry appear relatively short by comparison!?!??!
57 !!!
In India how can I get these strongman games training.
Hey
I’m wondering if you have found my other account yet?
Bit of a letdown ending there, no explanation of where he placed in that comp (tho obviously wouldn’t win as Brian was in it) and nothing explaining how he’s still going at 56 but good vid overall
Beaten by Don Pope in 2006 WSM. Pope 3rd place. Never placed any higher. Magnus Samuelson still best grip and strongest arms ever in strongman. Great Longevity Though. Steel Tendons and Age Defying Genetics
5:21 Who is this guy and why is he 3 inches taller than Big Terry?
Believe that is former WSM Ted Van Der Parre who stands at 7 feet tall
@@jaket2274 That’s Martin Bayfield, ex British Rugby player who completed interviews etc at strongman events including WSM (British coverage) for a period in early 2000’s, he stands 6’ 10”.
@@rochellejones2449 good to know
The Grip King, no comes close
He's a novelty act. 1 Trick 🐴🐎
Amen
Moron I'd like to see you do even an eighth of what Felix does
And let's not forget it's not his full time career
No one can match his grip and his longevity is amazing
Big hands = uhhhh big...grip
Op
Nothing against a Mark Felix but he never been a top strongman his factor has always been he in the sport long and has great grip. It’s amazing what he can do but I wouldn’t call him a legend
Closer to most overrated. He's never won anything big. Generally a mid to bottom of the table guy. His results prove that. If he's gifted it was definitely wasted.
No
He's literally never won anything, lol.
His grip, especially when it comes to endurance, is amazing, but that's about it. This constant praise, I don't get it. Is it a push for 'diversity' or something?
Preach
I think that's a bit harsh, but I do think that his specialisation has become his weakness, so to say
Every year he says he's come back stronger and I'm like "Mark...I love ya mate, but its not the 80s anymore! Why can't you see that?"
A 4th at world's and a few podiums at Europe's isn't to bad. Great record setting deadlifter at one point. He could compete and win a number of event's before, even if he didn't stand a chance at the comp. So always interesting to have a guy like that turn up and give the guys on top a bit more competition in some events.
Not starting at the sport until he was 38 and always being part time gives him a bit of an underdog vibe to. I think having such a mix of strengths and weaknesses means he gets a bit of the plucky underdog support from that as well.
