Haha. Itâs def small but they use it as a dock during the spring/summer. For some reason, the parks department here just pulls them to the beach during the winter and doesnât have a legit spot to store them. đ€·ââïž

downside of flying foamies in cold weather is ther a lot more fragile -tend to crack rather than bounce!

I started with the UMX Stearman, now I am flying the free flight 90mm hornet(that I havenât been able to fly yet), and doing 3D with a clapped out ultra stick with flapperons! It is only a matter of time until you get better, and start flying bigger, and cooler stuff!

Haha đ Yeah, the days of designing RC STOL planes the same way they design full scale STOL planes is long gone, unfortunately. Building light is what makes a bush plane really do what itâs meant to do - not adding slats and reverse thrust as a work aroundâŠalthough we will admit reverse is a fun feature. đ

My first "real" rc plane and the first plane where I put a big ass motor and an 8x8 prop on.
I flew it with my dad old FM radio and a bunch of different lipos from 2s 800 to 3s 1800.

Thanks! We do get asked about reviewing the Draco a lot. Hereâs the reply we usually give when asked.
Unfortunately, we don't plan to purchase or review a Draco having flown a few ourselves already. It's way too heavy for what it's trying replicate due to the weight of all the added plastic scale features amongst other things. It definitely is a nice fun replica of Draco to fly around as a scale plane though! Love the reverse thrust of course, too. đ

Love your videos guys, i know that you guys are a big fan of the original funcub by Multiplex. Are you aware of the fact that there now is a new version of it called the funcub NG with more power and a better landing gear? I don't know if it available in the US but it has been available here in Germany for some time and after having put the first few flights on mine I can tell you that its a great plane and might be right up your alley.
Thanks! Yep, we are aware. We have tried to reach out to Multiplex about getting an NG and never heard back, and they're difficult to get in the US. For now, we're more than happy with our OG Fun Cubs. They're lighter, too. One day we'll try the new ones...just can't put a firm timeline on it.

I havent watched the full video yet but i really like how you dont have the same music over and over and over in every video. I stopped watching flightest and rotor riot when all i could hear was just that music in every video i feel like it gives me nightmares so please please never use the same music over and over and over and thats not even exaggerating they really do just play it on loop for so long and in pretty much every video as far as i can tell anywway love your videos and this is one of the many resons why

You shouldâve done a 3 point harrier landing
With the Timber being as heavy as it is, high alpha leads to wing rock and an unstable approach. The wing rock also adds unnecessary risk for an asymmetric stall low over the water. I opted to go with a stable approach instead.

I have asked this on other channels....You have barn door flaps.. you have massive ailerons, (with a simple mix, if the aircraft uses a servo for EACH AILERON) why not put flaperons on these?

Ive had my TT EVO about 3 months broke the landing gear springs at least 4 times. curious how many times you broke the springs or did you beef up the gear in some way?
We break them quite a bit. We always have spares. Removing the spring limiters help (weâve been told the stock springs from the Timber X line uses them without spring limiters) and also optionally putting a couple zip ties in the middle of where the springs meet. @@TailHeavyProductions Thats awesome I'll check out the review By the way I modified mine with 5/8 aluminum tubing cut to 5 1/2" and took small bungie cords (2) inside the tube and attached to where the springs would attach so far so good.

IF u want a reversible esc for ur fun cub, I'll gladly send y'all a new, never used fms 80a esc (I put a 100a Avian esc in my fms 1.4m T28d) that has reverse.

Well, if it can land there, then it can land on something else that's definitely almost as long as that right here!!! I mean my car roof what did u think?.... Wait, my car got scrapped after some drug addicts vandalized it ITS EVEN ON CAMERA AND THEY STILL DIDNT GET CAUGHT, PFFF... It was a bmw e36 320i, it worked good, rip. And just recently my loudspeakers broke too, I didnt know I have to turn the power amp off while the preamp is still warming up - because its a "triode" or vacuum tube one - and it sent violent impulses upstream, blew out one of the tweeters, everything in my life went wrong, someone help me... Im slowly starting to get over it, but it hurt. Someone already reminded me "theyre just speakers" and yk THEY R RIGHT, I STILL HAVE MY GF. but my car getting ruined really hurt, it had a modded exhaust, too, and we all love the straight six sound. I havent really recovered from that one. So yeah, watching youtube helps. Im supposed to be young and strong, but Im not. The best I can do is watch youtube and pretend like Im having the life that I couldnt. No, it really helps, it's better for me that I have videos like this available, it's more than a glimpse into a hobby that I never got that much into, it's... These videos are so good, it's almost a full experience.
