As a full time dad and my son’s mom just passed away last year(October 2020), I can say my mom has prepared me well. I cook breakfast from scratch every morning, take him to school, making sure he does extra work,, read a bed time story for him every school night, etc.
The job can be hard if the parents didn’t raise that man well as my mom and dad raised me.
I miss my son’s mom but I am doing well so far.
Only problem is he’s kinda picky far as eating but he’s only 6(turning 7 next month in Sept).
Good bless you my man, all for the best, and she's flying high. She's watching you, you've done her proud.

This is how I used to feel when I would come home from school and be expected to do housework then expected to do the laundry for everyone on the weekends as well. At that time, I would have to carry all of the laundry (3 giants bag up to my chest) in a cart and walk to a laundry mat before washing all the clothes, going back to switch them to the dryers then have to carry it all home. If I wasn't a teenager always on caffeine and guilt tripped into it, I would have probably been disowned for "not wanting to help my family out" after they worked all day.
