My 20th century philosophy professor is somewhat less precise, as I feel many 20th century thinkers tend to be, which can make it difficult to fit into the framework of my understanding of these concepts and how they relate to previous philosophical work (though it has other benefits like emotional impact and whatnot) but I appreciate your distinctions and explanation!
