Yeah the communication was key. I am not a texter but I do prefer that to calls. Really im an in person type of person. But we were long distance in the beginning so she figured out (i didnt know either) that facetime is best for me. Then we were able to graduate to calling more often and stuff like that.
As far as the couples dates, if they have been to a place more than once, in my opinion they should post that particular place and include it to the list of places a couple could go out on a date to.

“What you like without makeup” is a dumb question. What are you expecting as an answer? Weather they are actually covering up a pimple, acne, or just put on makeup without a specific thing to cover up. I don’t like makeup either but asking like that is asking for a negative reaction

I wouldn't suggest long distance to anyone long term. But don't let a little distance stop you from yo person. If you can plan a move or something within a year, do it. My wife was 1600 miles away for about 9-10 months when we started. Now she's on the other side of the bed. Happy.
To be fair, I don't know the history of how makeup got from where it started into where it is today. BUT, makeup started as a uniform to advertise certain roles in society or hierarchy. Royals had makeup (men and women). Service workers had makeup (men and women). Religious figures had makeup (men and women). So it didn't start as a beauty aspect. It was a way to tell who you were talking to. Even as close as early Europe it was a royalty thing to wear makeup. But I agree that today, it is something pushed on women as a need. I would consider it to be an American thing that made makeup a beauty standard. I do think today, more men are in favor of "natural" (minimal, not noticeable makeup) over actually natural or heavy makeup looks. Just like this new wave of liking thicker women. Most men like the "natural" (not noticeable enhancements) and the actual natural body over the heavy plastic surgery body.
About The Makeup unfortunately I cannot rock with you on that particular point and the reason is that Fallen Angels taught women about Makeup and Men never asked for women to wear makeup it was used to charm and seduce us originally it was a sin that was instructed to women and if you read the Book of Enoch you will find it in there if you are interested, however I understand where that point comes from because men do indulge in aesthetics of women originally. 12:43 I disagree partially . Black men when I was a kid were seen as unkempt and ugly if you didn’t have waves, braids or dreads. If you had a fro or a nappy head of hair that wasn’t it and as I got older for me it became the style because black men said I don’t care what you like or not ima do what I want to. Men in general have this mindset, mullets and 70’s mustaches are coming back because men dictate they are not because women want them back and they have either accepted it or they haven’t. You dictate what is acceptable, if you’ve let society tell you what’s acceptable you have a defeatist mindset kinda.
