@@soramirez5473 💯. Rodman had a gift of seeing the trajectory of the ricochet to know where to go to get the rebound. Definitely also will out hustle and out-cardio you. Came here from an article written by a VIRGIL VILLANUEVA about Oakley. The fact oak sent his whole body and couldn’t drop Rodman and in fact he fell is proof of the advanced knowledge of physics Rodman has. Which he also used to reb too.

I dont think Rodman would've done well had there been a real fight. Something tells me he isn't much of a real fighter. He was just very crafty and strong. Oakley's flopping ass 😂 😂 😂
Two legends. Rodman probably my favorite Defensive PF of all time and as a old time Knick fan Oakley will forever be the face of the tough no nonsense 90's knicks. Oak was the enforcer and in many ways did many of the same things Rodman did (although no one does it better than rodman).
Oakley crashed the boards and often held rodman in check rebounding wise. Rodman was more like a "worm" squirming his way to a rebound. Oakley quite literally ran and crashed his body into players to get the rebound.. different types of players.
@@soramirez5473 💯. Rodman had a gift of seeing the trajectory of the ricochet to know where to go to get the rebound. Definitely also will out hustle and out-cardio you. Oakley was a rock, that was a master at boxing out, and had the strength to tassel with the big men. It certainly wasn’t his hops. Like you said he uses his body to get rebounds, Barkley was like that too, short, didn’t have high hops, but that 6’6 frame would feel Ike a 6’10 frame.
If lebrick James had to face Charles Oakley and Dennis rodman they'll turn him into queen James
90% of the nba not just Bron... So don't just hate on the man's greatness
@@sylvesterthomas8118 what greatness you smoking k2 mixed with moonrocks
Why yall hate on ppl for no reason...??? He's not the flashiest player nor is he aggressive like Kobe (r.i.p) or Jordan, but can either of those two player play all 5 positions or even guard players in all 5 positions that's that's not even the main thing just answer that..
@@sylvesterthomas8118 lebrick James play all 5 positions is a le ESPN narrative dude
Don't b a sheep
@@wonallahchingada5048 bro do you watch like really watch NBA games not just look at the television or at the score like really look at the game... It isn't a myth about him playing and guarding all positions
Rodman got so many calls against him that were unwarranted
2:50 - pure perfection.
Damn.. Charles "Flop" Oakley? Probably knew he couldn't outdo Rodman, so he figured to flop instead.
Mocking all nba players are only the past time of dennis and charles oakley during their era..
GooD BASKETBALL BACK THEN...JORDAN GOT NO RESPECT...EVERBODY WAS...PLAYING BALL!!!!
Hope Oakley got an Oscar for that flop at 1:50
Rodman we miss you on the NBA you the best defense in the NBA history!
Rodman is wild. 😂
I miss old school basketball. Malice at the Palace was something else!
AD would literally break like a toothpick vs these real men
That hip check from Rodman 😂
Oakley's plays against Rodman were dirty for sure but looks like Rodman learned some dirtiness from Oakley and applied some of it later in his career.
Man I really miss those physical battles back in the day. I don't even watch today's NBA.
That Knicks roster would have todays teams crying to their mamas.
Rodman over Oakley every time.
Roadman was a great player with Detroit . The Bulls picked him up for his talent . And his dirty play as a tactic. The Bulls were so deep on the bench, it didn't matter if Rodman got technicals or got tossed out of the game
The days when we ordered pizza and drink beers to watch real games.
Came here from an article written by a VIRGIL VILLANUEVA about Oakley. Oak tried to say he kicked Rodman out his steakhouse which may have very well happened but to then say Rodman was soft and was just a "good" rebounder is ludicrous. He said some other crap too which doesn't surprise me bc it's oak lol but yea
When basketball was FIRE 🔥
Gotta love 90's PF battles, and I love 90s NBA.
Bark Malone Oak Kemp LJ Rodman Thorpe HGrant BWilliams DColeman TCummings, I'm sure I'm leaving some out but it was the era of the ballers with balls with characters inside.
The fact oak sent his whole body and couldn’t drop Rodman and in fact he fell is proof of the advanced knowledge of physics Rodman has. Which he also used to reb too.
These two had a certain admiration for each other, LOL!!
Someone call the new commissioner and tell him that their views would go up, if they allowed this type of play again. I love offense but the grind of defense kept you glued to the tv. That’s why Football is the best sport to watch… The contact!!!❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
0:19-0:20 & 0:26-0:30 John Salley comforting his old Bad Boys teammate.
Love em or hate em, Rodman and Oakley were great contributors to the golden age of the NBA
Both had mutual respect for one another and played like grown ass men
Oakley will not be remembered. Rodman will not be forgotten.
Oakley got more videos of his thuggary on youtube than any other player.. I certainly has not been forgotten.
these two secretly loved each other.. Mason too.. it was a big lovefest between these three going back to them pistons days.
Como extraño esos partidos nada que ver con la liga qué hay hoy en día
I miss Rodman he didn't back down from anyone.
Some friend told me a lot of years ago that Rodman was karate black belt it was after the movie he filmed with van damme is that true?
Hahahah Marv said “ the windmill dunk by Oakley “ 😂🤣 @ that regular put back.
That boi barely got off the ground lol..
This is when I loved the game 😁
En México las mejores narraciones con Pepe Espinoza..Enrique Garay...en la mejor época del básquet....visto en México.....
some real battles here
One person Oakley couldn’t bully is Rodman💪💪💪
he couldn't bully the davis boyz either.
Actually he did even Rodman admitted Oakley was one who had his Number
@@madrich3050 actually if you see 30 for 30 Antonio said he had to get over his intimidation of Oakley and the Knicks..
lol you obviously didnt see the actual games, go rewatch them.. especially the pistons series in 1991, its on youtube... go see Rodman get manhandled by Oakley AND Mason.. Woolridge was actually the most physical player on the Pistons.. Rodman got badly outplayer the first half of the series before waking up.. Pistons still lost..
I dont think Rodman would've done well had there been a real fight. Something tells me he isn't much of a real fighter. He was just very crafty and strong. Little crazy as most NBA players are athletes and aren't fighters. Actual fighters, if I would have to guess would be ppl like Latrell Sprewell, Larry Johnson, Karl Malone, Ron Artest, Charles Oakley, Shaq would do damage bc of size and strength, Anthony Mason and Charles Barkley
