- I think i'm slowly starting to lose the plot lol. BUT, Closest i come to making someone become not alive... I receive amazing gifts! My 2nd camera gets corrupted, i wear a wig for the fun of it, we park up on the docks & then chain a steel load & get completely filthy!

Anyone that goes out their way to give a driver anything even if it is 'just' iron bru needs to realise the man's been away all week an that my friend is a massive morale booster. Remember loading solvents out of Middlesbrough years ago and had too dip load when I finished loading i literally felt so spaced out and high I had too park up outside the factory for 2 hrs before I felt safe too drive

Please please research how to properly secure a load before you do anything like this. .Gov.uk/DVSA website is a good place to start. It never fails to amaze me how much effort driver's put into holding a load "down". Believe you me the very last direction a load will move if it shift's while being transported is "up"! Selfishly as a driver I've always been more concerned about securing a load from moving forward, towards me.

Some car drivers have no idea how much room trucks need to stop! Wednesday I was on the M5 heading upto Portbury to a nostalgia museum with the kids and after over taking a truck I was being careful to give them plenty of room before I moved back in then I was getting total knobheads cutting into my braking space at the last minute!! Some car drivers should seriously lose their licence before they cause someone to nearly lose their life! Enjoy your Tunnocks tea cakes😋 can't remember the last time I had Irnbru!
Hi mate, if you want a challenge try tanker work, I did flat and heavy haulage but Tankers are a different thing altogether 👍🏼

The company I work for have internal camera on front screen facing out and in towards me. If we go into emergency brake,
the camera will record and it records back some length of time to see what happened before the harsh brake and carry's on
forward some length of time recording the whole scenario. So that which happed to you would have been sent straight to your
place of work and I'm sure if you have the number plate in view, the one that went in front of you causing you to swerve could have
prosecuted. And would have cleared you had there been a collision.
In future Deady park up so you can get out if you need to get away. Never been in that position before to be honest. I don't need to tell ya to not listen to some pillock in a service yard again.

The tunnel from B'head to L'pool you use in a truck is actually called the Wallasey Tunnel (Kingsway), @the end of the M53.
The other tunnel is the B'head Tunnel (Queensway) @the end of the A41 which I doubt you've driven through in a truck.

I had to take a job which was about 10% HGV driving and 90% manual labour for a few weeks and I guess that helped but to be honest I just got lucky with this one I start on Monday!

I got lucky and did my tests through the company I work for. I'm going to stay here for a couple of years before looking at the job market. Get experience, maybe move on, maybe not.
What about putting a few ratchet straps in a cross on the front and back? Those chains won’t stop them sliding forwards if you have you stop in a emergency!!!
