    Thank you so much! I completely forgot my science homework and this saved my LIFE!!!!!

  • @stevenmichaelwilson1915

    Science is cool. I will use this tomorrow for a last class of the year. Save the best for last. I will pair it with another where I put a blown up balloon inside of a bottle and pump air into the bottle to "deflate" the balloon because of the increased pressure around it.

      It is a HORRIBLE explanation. The only thing that makes the balloon inflate is by creating a vacuum. Its not air pressure that inflates the ballloon. It is air DUE to the vacuum he is generating by sucking. What school has this guy ditched all year?

  • @rossjohnson2611
    @rossjohnson2611 Před 8 lety +4

    No such thing as suck. Your muscles increase the volume of your body (ribs pull up & out, diaphragm drops, pharynx ("throat") also expands) which lowers the pressure in your body... outside air pressure pushes air into the bottle which expands the balloon and thus pushes air out of the bottle, through the hole, and into your lungs. Basically, you're trying to breathe and putting the balloon - bottle apparatus in the way, so the balloon inflates just as your lungs do. Very nifty demo. Thanks for sharing it.

    Science is cool. Mine didn't work though because the bottle started crumbling before the balloon inflated really, I would need a bottle that is more stable.

    Sucking version is not that cool, I'd rather put bottle under a hot stream of water for a minute, then put the ballon on and at the end cool the bottle down with cold water. That will do, no holes only termodynamics.

    Ok so you cant blow the balloon while inside the plastic jar even though it has a hole, but you can blow it outside the jar just like any regular balloon... isn't the hole in the jar supposed to equalize air pressure inside:outside? why cant you blow it inside the plastic jar if it has a hole?

      Its likely because he doesn't know jack all. He didn't expolain anything right. See my explanation above. That is the physics of it. This guy is CONFUSED! If there is no WIND or SUCKING or other force acting on the air, it will remain as is! NO FORCE!

    • @fredfarkle6347
      @fredfarkle6347 Před rokem

      @@philindeblanc You answered the question correctly. Well, kind of. A better answer would have been there's 21 more dopes like you that think vacuums suck. Vacuums don't suck. Part where he held his finger over the hole and the air didn't rush out went ten miles over your head.
