On their page it seems that it's only used with workstation GPUs so you are probably going to overpay if you want good performance. Also, I may be wrong but I think it will have slight delay when running real time applications.
I think they're focusing on the tesla type boards rather than the gaming ones..

Nvidia Grid is great the real problem is that it limits to 3.5gb but with microstransactions you can buy the rest of the 500mb memory.

You can. The most powerful VRC model has 8 Quadro M6000 GPU´s (those are based on the Titan X) 258 GB of ram and up to 2 xeon 10 core CPU´s. Quadro wasn´t made for gaming, but the cards are really strong.
So yes you can game at it.

got time for this but no time to finally really tell 970 users whats going on and what nvidia will do? I was loyal for 9 years, exept for the last half year were I used the amd gpu of a friend because mine was broken, and thats what I get for it? Shame on you nvidia.

Pretty absurd that no one noticed until months after the cards were released and untill driver level tests were done. But I digress the 970 seemed too good to be true Ill just stick with my 3gb 780 ti
Goatsee well the 780ti is a tiny little bit better no matter what, and I do not say that I have problems with the card, its all about the wrong advertisement for me. If they would've advertised it the way it was I'd also have bough it, but making a mistake (they even admitted that it was a mistake by them) and letting the costumers pay the price for it is just wrong, I dont want my money back, I just want an OFFICIAL statement, not just some posts in some forum threads, and a small compensation to at least see they are sorry instead of just talking crap and in the end having made way more profit then they should due to this.
Benchmarks are great for the 970.
