You have to give this man credit for being a player in the league who witnessed MJ like that. Most of what many hear about MJ comes from the politics of the NBA. They create personas to make players look good and make players look bad. So with that being said Rasheed Wallace is keeping it 100 and true. Many may not like it but it is what it is. He could shoot ball from mid and long range with the best of them and hit his free throws… but we all know u couldn’t pay him to play defense. So he def can’t be taken serious critizing Jordan’s defense? He couldn’t actually point out any weak points or break down any part of it… so that’s a Checkmate! Truth is on Bill Walton, he was the general consensus and undisputed #1 pick in his draft year from UCLA , nobody was a close second. His dominance on the court was well established before he entered the pros.
By comparison , Rasheed was chosen behind 4 other college players and after his selection was Kevin Garnet!
Seriously ,if you could have a 100% healthy Walton in his prime or a Rasheed Wallace?I am certain the hippie from San Diego wins that decision every time. The other opponents during his early years were the lucky ones who did not have to face fierce competitors at his best because of health issues.

I think that's selective because even Kobe for example an elite defender had guys that could score on him. Everyone has certain stars and role players that get them and have there numbers on def. As well fatigue plays a role when you avg 30 a night do you have expect any players to be equally amazing on both ends?
Realistically sheed wasn't a good defender unitio he got with Larry Brown and Ben he just played physical isn't the same as actually being good at def and he wasn't much of a rebounder for his size avg the same as Dirk on the boards.
