Have any questions about your a6100?? 🤔 Post them below! 👇
No. There are options for SLOG on the a6100
Please how do I connect my mic with the camera
You plug it into the port on the side with a microphone symbol. What kind of mic?
@@CamberFilmSchool a pin mic
Do you have a link to one I can look at?
Appreciated all the tips, it'll be helpful when ill be having own camera.
Glad to help!
Oh sweet!!! Any tips on this camera its always welcome, not many pros use this camera 🙏🙌 thank you!!
No problem. 👍 Glad to help!
Very useful, thank you!
No problem! 👍
I have a shoot tonight, short clip. Wish me luck haha. Thanks, for this video ! 🙏🏽
You got this! 😂
Thanx for the video mate, i have a problem with my sony a6100. When shooting in 4k 25 fps , 50 shutter speed at 600 iso, (also tried 1080p 50 fps , 1/100 shutter: same= while panning i have motion blur. the video is not fluent. like lack of continuity. do you have any suggestion or idea about this situation? my sd card is sandisk extreme 150 Mb/s U3 (i applied all of your settings to my camera)
That will happen when panning quickly or for a long time. I’ve seen the same thing in movies too and it would make me feel dizzy. If I am planning some kind of panning shot, I try to make sure that I do it very slowly so that it lessens that effect.
Hi Sir,
Good information and thank you on behalf of everyone using this camera. I am using this camera for my food videos but i realize that the videos are not the crisp or sharp enough and look faded as well. Can you let me know which settings would be ideal for food video in house with diffuser and lightings used. I have always used the video mode on the dial. Do you suggest to use the Manual dial mode for the videos? Your response would be very helpful
No, you still have to use the video dial setting to record videos, but you have to make sure you're in manual video mode so that you can manually control all the settings of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to get the best quality image. Otherwise the camera will be determining all of that for you.
@@CamberFilmSchool Hi Sir,
Thanks for the prompt reply. May i check what ISO and Shutter and Aperture would be generally ideal if i am using the sony lens 16-50mm?
That all depends on the style of video you want and how much light you have for your scene. I have a lot of videos on the channel explaining aperture, shutter, and iso along with the effects of each on your videos.
Thanks for the class
😉
Awesome video! What's the best settings for photography, to get that 4K quality?
I’m not sure what you mean by 4K quality with photos because 4K is a video spec, but for the highest quality photos you’ll want to show RAW and learn to color grade them.
Thanks so much! This was a great walkthrough.
I was trying to figure out how to get my gridlines to show up... couldn't find it. Randomly, I pulled out my HDMI cable and the gridlines showed up.
Also... Somehow, I followed most of your setting and somehow I got my kit lens to remember the focal length (?) [24mm] that I want all the time.
What do you mean by remember the nut lens?
@@CamberFilmSchool ... I just tested it again, and it doesn't remember my focal length. 😥
I have the kit lens which is a zoom lens. Every time i turn on the camera i have to set it to 24mm.
I’m confused. What are you setting to 24mm? The image stabilization?
@@CamberFilmSchool Focal length.
A6100 kit lens is a zoom lens from 16mm - 50mm.
I get that you have a zoom lens, but the camera doesn’t set your focal length automatically every time you turn it on. You turn it to what you want.
Wow 👌👌👌👌
Thanks! 👍
Nice video
Thanks!
Hey, could you do one for Sony a6400 please?
As soon as I get my hands on one! 👍
Noticed when I record videos in 4k if I moved the camera or panned to an object or person i would get noticeable motion blur. Any idea what I can do to minimize that??
What’s your shutter speed?
Hey Man can you do a video for Sony A6400 too?
Sure. I’ll have to get my hands on one first though! I’ll add it to the list next time I rent more gear. 👍
If you have video on timelapse and slow mo could you please provide link?
I don’t use the typical slow motion controls on the camera. I record at 60 or 120 fps and then slow it down while editing in a 24 fps project.
0:55 my long exposure tab is greyed out so i couldn't turn the setting off. what to do?
You may have to switch your camera into "M" or one of the other picture modes to change that because I'm pretty sure it's a setting specific to photos.
Hi,
Please let me the setting for food photography. There is no gourmet mode in this camera, unlike another sony camera. Please help.
You’d use the same settings regardless of the subject of what you’re filming. Only think you may want to consider though is using 60 FPS for video if you want to use slow motion.
how to change aperture value while recording in s&q mode in sony a6100
It depends on which dial you have set to aperture in the menu settings.
Does Sony a6100 have flat color profiles ???
You just have to go into the color profile and take down saturation/contrast/sharpness manually to make a flatter “picture profile” look.
What body is better a6100 or ZV-E10?
I prefer the ZV-E10
Sir can you plz explain this settings in canon
Canon has completely different menu options and it depends on the type of canon camera you have.
I have canon 200d mark 2 sir can u plz explain a video sir
I don’t have one of those. What settings do you need to know about?
Cinematic setting sir at which area what type of setting we need to change etc sir
There aren’t settings that make videos look “cinematic”. That’s done mostly from your lens choice, framing, and lighting. But the basic camera settings that you’ll probably want to do is 24fps and 1/50 on the shutter speed.
NTSC vs PAL? What's the difference? What to choose?
Yes, you're in the "PAL" mode. You have to switch to "NTSC" to get those other frame rates. I have a video under 2 minutes here that shows how to change that: czcams.com/video/y_u_k7IhSqk/video.html
Thanks
👍
Why cant i see 60fps option?
Your camera is probably set to PAL. Go through the menus until you see that and switch it to NTSC.
When I open the camera is blue do u know why and how to change it
The screen is blue?
I meant to a blur just got it to it just the camera with no lense on it
@arthuryang3184 you’re not going to be able to see anything without a lens. That’s what focuses the light on the sensor.
Ok thank u so much
@arthuryang3184 👍
You say nothing about image stabilization? Is there no image stabilization on this camera?
a6100 doesn’t have that.
Hii
👍
You didn’t really explain anything,
The video is about showing what my camera settings are, and I have separate in depth videos explanations on things like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus modes, picture profiles, etc. What do you need explained?
