Love that set up mate the lightest rod I got is 10-30g and I thought that was a light thin rod and that bit of stream wi trout looked beautiful place to fish top vid 👍

You should catch a bucket full of those Minnows, Put on a Perch Bobber float, a Small Treble hook (Two Points Barb-less) and a Split shot under the Float, just enough to cock It. Letting the Minnow swim free (Hooked with the barbed part just behind the dorsal fin). You will catch all those Bigger Fish. Keep Em Coming.
Been 15 years since i did UL fishing... hooked a 4 kilo pike and that rod wasnt much left 🙈 tomorrow im off to that river you and i talked about near me. Will let you kbow if its any pike in it 😁 taking the westin W4 and ambassadeur 5600 svartzonker in honor of first try in that river 😁

Minnows love pink lures. In clear water I've watched entire shoals follow and attack the lure.
